A phone call was made and an appointment set up for Chris Voss to come give us an evaluation and price to complete all the work needed. He arrived on time and spent all the time we needed to answer our many questions. Chris was personable, patient and informative! He was thorough in his description of work needed and the price was reasonable. It didn't take long for us to hire this company. Work began on the date designated and was competed in two days. Cleanup was thorough and timely. The crew was incredibly hard working, respectful and polite. We needed additional chimney and siding work, also skillfully completed. Project coordinator, Keith, was on site the majority of time which was appreciated. All in all, we are more than pleased with our experience with J.C. Wilson Roofing Company and would recommend them unconditionally. Our experience far exceeded our expectations."

"Met the owner (Thomas) at salt springs on a Sunday and struck up a conversation and told him our roof situation by Thursday he was at the house taking measurements. By Tues the next week the materials were dropped and the following day his crew showed up to start the job. No one knew what was underneath the existing incorrectly installed metal roof. As they dug in they found two layers of shingles plus the metal roof. Once everything was off and down to the wood it was in such bad shape they had to reconstruct most of the roof. Not only did they do so Thomas and his crew provided a gorgeous green metal roof that made my wife extremely happy. Bragging on Thomas his crew and his company still wouldn't do them justice for the outstanding job that they did. Not only would we recommend them to anyone needing a roof but we plan on giving them the most kudos to anyone needing any kind of roofing. This was more than just a job for my wife and I because it turned into a friendship."

"They were good. They came in a little high but they're one of the more popular contractors for that kind of work. They do give you a higher quality window and stuff, so you're getting what you pay for. 

The estimate worked out pretty well. We haven't decided yet and we're still getting estimates. So we are still undecided at this point."

"The roof construction itself is quality work. The roofing crew arrived on the time and date specified and cleaned up after their job. My roof passed county inspection. My issue with the company is not with the roof itself, but with their warranty. The salesman advised me this company has a 15-year workmanship warranty on the roofs they install. This was a key determinant to choosing this company over its many competitors in the area. The salesman even showed me examples of competing roofing company sales contracts which indicate only a 5-year standard warranty for work done. The salesman confirmed the cost with Covenant to be higher because of this 15-year warranty. I signed a sales contract which states 12. ALL WORK COVERED BY A 5 YEAR WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY. CRC upgrade_warranty applies. The salesman confirmed that their CRC (Covenant Roofing Company) upgrade warranty was to total the roof under a 15-year warranty. He stated I would receive the warranty at the completion of the roof. I was sold. The roof was built. The final CRC inspection was completed by a project manager. I asked about the warranty paperwork. He stated I would receive the papers upon payment. I asked specifically if there were any out of pocket costs. He said he did not know, but that the paperwork would indicate such terms. At a later time, this is the warranty coverage I received: Covenant Roofing Construction, Inc. warrants to you an extended warranty of __15___ years. This warranty is transferable to one new owner. This warranty includes 5 years of unconditional workmanship. An officer of the company will need to perform a maintenance inspection of the roof starting on the 6th year and every year thereafter for the life of the warranty. There will be a fee of $150.00 per inspection for the recertification of the roof. If an inspection is missed the warranty will become void. This warranty does not cover product defects, extreme weather conditions, or acts of God. This warranty does not cover any additional cost to remove and/or reinstall any roof peripherals to complete repair. Needless to say, I was distraught over the additional costs of maintaining this warranty and the indication that it would become null and void if I was non-compliant. After several in-person and phone conversations, there was no remedy to the fact that I would need to make additional payment beyond that of the sales contract if I desired to continue my warranty coverage after 5 years. They did, however, gift me 2 separate VISA gift cards in the amount of $50 and $150 for my inconvenience. The office was pleasant and apologetic in listening to my concern, but apologies will not cover my cost after the initial limitations. I advised them not to sell customers on what they are not actually offering in their agreement and without making such knowledge available to the consumer."

"We solicited three estimates for having our roof replaced. We selected Universal Roof & Contracting. Their estimator, Sean, evaluated our project and presented the facts to us in a very understandable manner. His cost estimates were right on point. The start date was established though Daniel and all further communications were though him. The shingles were delivered as agreed and positioned on the roof. Project manager Stefan and his crew arrived on the scheduled date and went right to work. By noon all that needed to be removed was completed. All new material was installed efficiently and correctly that afternoon. Cleanup was done satisfactorily and the crew left for the day. Second payment was made and receipt obtained. Credit was given for unused materials on the final invoice. Payment was made and final receipt obtained. All were honest, professional and courteous at all times. We highly recommend this company for roof replacement."
