"Old (original with the house) heavy wooden garage door needed replaced. Gave me an estimate for the new insulated door, and agreed to re use the existing opener. The arrived on time on the day of replacement, performed the work in a professional and relatively quiet manor, After hooking up the old opener we discovered the internal gears were stripped and the opener would need to be replaced as well. He recommended that I purchase a unit myself that was on sale at Menard's and he would install it. Came back as promised and installed the new opener, everything works great."

"Alex, the salesman, was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job of matching woodwork, siding and other windows that were not replaced. He was helpful, professional and did not use pressure to purchase the most expensive products. He worked with us on financing. Mike Ward and his crew of Justin and 2 other young men were prompt and professional. Their work was excellent and they cleaned up afterwards and vacuumed the carpet. After the windows were installed, they demonstrated how the windows worked. The new windows are high quality. We plan on using Renewal by Anderson to replace other windows and doors."

"The new roof is great. Due to the roof vent, air circulation is much improved. We no longer use a space heater in our bedroom. <br /> We thought we were entitled to the discount advertised on Angie's list, but because we did not mention it until after we were given the price quote we were told we did not qualify. If you mention the Angie's list discount before the price quote they can simply tack the amount on to the quote. <br /> Frankly, I feel we were cheated and the discount was always meaningless. <br />"

"Chad had me from the description of how critical prep work is to a good job. And Kyle and Dakota worked hard at it. Had a lot of wallpaper to remove (4 rooms & a tall stairway and hall); and drywall to repair (from settling and damage). They spent 2-3 days on prep. They also helped with a water condensation problem at the bathroom exhaust fan (5th room). Also did 3 closets. The paint looks fabulous. We have a few bedrooms that need some paint too. Will probably call them again."

"I wish I had used these people earlier. I ordered a part for my dryer and was able through their instructional video to fix it myself. Let me tell you I am "mechanically challenged" in just about every way. LOL I may have cut myself through my own stupidity but I did it. it was easy and I did not have to pay a repair man for a simple fix. Thank you so much!"

"<p>We had a very old double garage door (30 + years old) and a new opener (15+ years old) as well as a rather large side window replaced in the garage.</p> <p>We chose a Raynor garage door because of the insulation qualities and warranties. We also purchased the LiftMast garage door opener, belt drive. Both were installed without any instances and makes a world of difference in the appearance of our home. Jarrod was there to help walk us through all of the various technical questions and more than happy to share the color swatches he had available so we could select just the right color for our new door. We are very pleased with their service and workmanship and will indeed contact them for future service.</p> <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Saint Joseph, IL

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
