"Our main sewer line backed up overnight and we discovered it after taking a couple of showers in the morning. I called Cutting Edge just before 7am and received a call back about 20 minutes later. Knowing I wanted to get this done as soon as possible, I asked about availability and price - more heavily weighting availability in this case. Joe, who I spoke with on the phone, said he could have someone out between 8am-10am and they would call about 30 minutes in advance. One of the services I asked about was a sewer clean out which he quoted at $210 (with another company I called quoting this service at $190 for comparison). But they were available quickly so I booked it. Bill - who performed the service - called at around 9 and arrived just before 9:30. He quickly visually diagnosed the issue as a sewer line backup and asked what I was quoted for that service. I also asked about a camera (so the issue could be diagnosed) and he quoted me $195 for that. What I didn't know and wasn't told before I got the bill was that there was an additional charge for the floor drain cleaning at $160. Other companies I have used in the past include this in the main line cleanout (I believe). Pros: They were responsive over the phone and came out quickly - solving my issue. Bill showed me what he was seeing in the camera and even walked me through the detail so I could take notes. Cons: They weren't as upfront about their pricing as others and seem more expensive than comparisons."

He called in Dave with a camera and he said I needed work done in the front yard and they would dig it up and install a new piece of drain and a sleeve. He said they would use like a "claw" and it cuts away everything. They jetted it and that was all along with a sleeve. $2,000 an hour to do the work. Really high priced plus the $500 for drain cleaning. It took them three hours to do the entire job but they sat in trucks for several hours not doing work. I'm happy with the work that was done, but WAY to expensive for the amount of time it took."
