Along the way we were a bit indecisive and made a few changes which added work to the original scope, increased our budget and timeline, however Douglas immediately shifted into another gear and was able to incorporate our changes within the original design. He is extremely honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable of his trade. His communication skills and integrity were second to none. I don’t know how he handles all the stress, but he makes it look easy. Mike worked efficiently completing the demolition of the previous stairs and railing in one day. He identified and corrected structural deficiencies from the previous construction and completed the remodel and finish work within the time he originally stated it would take to complete the job. He was even able to stay on-budget with the exception of the additional repairs identified during demolition. Even then, he discussed any changes early and found effective solutions that didn’t significantly increase the cost of completing the work.
