"Krista and her team were awesome! They were great at helping us understand what our options were and which would give us the best value. I had several bids and Adorn was priced competitively. The biggest reason I chose them was because I felt they cared so much more about the quality of their install than others, and they didn’t just want to get in and out and onto the next job, like most other contractors. Would 100% recommend."

"Synergy Windows approached us because we had windows that were still the original stock windows when the home was built in 2012. They were really sub-par windows, and Synergy Windows gave us a great deal on replacing them. We met with one of their salesmen, Kyle. We were very impressed with him. He was very nice, and we didn't feel pressured into anything, and he let us make the decision without pressuring us. About a month after our initial meeting with the Kyle, the workers from a different company (Tates Construction, through Alside, according to the contract) came and installed the windows. They arrived at around 10:30am or so on the day of the install and they finished around 5:45pm. The window install went really smoothly, and the workers were nice. Overall, they installed 10 windows (4 large, 4 medium, and 2 small windows). The windows are a very good quality, and they are significantly better than our previous windows. However, they damaged the paint next to the windows in two rooms. I didn't noticed until they had left. In the one room, it's no big deal, because we have the paint used for that room. However, we have no idea what the paint color is in the other room. This whole install was just shy of a month ago. Shortly after, I contacted Synergy windows about the damage to the paint/wall (so, about 2 weeks ago) after they asked me for a review. They asked for picture of the damage, and I sent it. I haven't heard back from them. We received a new utilities bill this month, and compared to last month, it went down by just under $30. Overall, it was a good experience, with a couple of problems."

"It was a warranty work taken care by a third party. They were definitely first rate. They had to be in and out of the house, almost continuously. They were very careful coming in and out. They kept me well informed as to what was going on and what they were finding. I recommended them to a friend of mine who was having some window work done."

"I called for an estimate and was given the prices over the phone. The prices were pretty reasonable, and I like the convenience of them coming to my house to measure, make and install, all at the same time. They had an opening 2 days later and showed up right on time. I had initially only told them I wanted 2  window screens, but after they got here I decided I should do a third. That was no problem for them, they have all the stuff with them! I couldn't believe how fast they made them and got them installed. They look great! They had 2 options for the sliding door screen and I wasn't sure which one to get. They brought samples of both the standard and heavy duty frames and took the time to explain the differences. It looks great and slides so smooth! I was impressed that the quote over the phone was exactly what I paid. I also like that everything but the screen mesh is covered by warranty, so if the wheels need replacing I just have to call them ."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Salt Lake City, UT

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
