"I appreciated they have  front desk staff answered the phone and scheduled the appointment. The estimator made the trip to inspect the job site on time and gave a written quote within a week as promised. The only problem is the price which is the highest among all I gathered. Since they are interested in the GC role, they gave me itemized quotes for other tasks as well (e.g. framing). They are all in the higher end of my solicited responses. I know they may have great quality of work but my instinct drive me to look for other shops that have equally good rating or word of mouth. For foundation work itself, I think their price is at least 25% more than the average quote I had. Even considering a GC charging 15-20% markup, I still think their bid is a bit high."
