We called Mrs Grout per a recommendation from friends who had used the service. A lady, I believe her name was Melissa, scheduled an appt, arrived promptly for an estimate, explained the work, gave us an estimate and scheduled the work per our approval. On the scheduled day two ladies, Michelle and Alex arrived promptly at the scheduled time and went to work. It seemed they worked non-stop from about 9 AM to 5 PM. Both ladies were very personable and explained the work as they went along. The end result was tile/grout that looked new. Needless to say it is significant savings over installing new tile. I would recommend these ladies and company to anyone. WOW!"

"Ryan did a fantastic job repairing the caulk and grout in my shower. The corners around the built-in bench were previously sealed with a very messy caulk that didn’t match the grout in the shower. There was black mold growing behind the sloppy.caulk. Ryan removed all the ugly white caulk and replaced it with beautiful grout and caulk that matched the original grout. I’d hire him again if I needed a grout expert."

"I learned about Surface Experts as I was preparing my condo for sale (a 3,600 square foot waterfront unit in downtown St Pete). The painters and other workers getting it in shape had done a great job, but when everything else was finished, the floors stuck out like a sore thumb. The tile, which was about half the floor space in addition to a 1,200 foot terrace outside, had lost its luster; grout was in need of repair and some areas had various degrees of discoloration. The wood floors were also in need of serious cleaning to remove hundreds of splatter spots left by the painters, as well as some additional touch-up. When entering the unit and walking around, the floors and especially the tiling detracted intensely from the otherwise new-looking condo. My realtor called in a couple of specialists to provide quotes, and they informed us that a number of tiles needed to be removed and replaced but, because they could not be matched, we were actually looking at possible re-tiling more than an entire room in the process. Paul arrived and made a thorough inspection of the flooring, and then came up with a plan to bring it back to life. His plan did not involve replacing any tiles at all. He and his able assistant Erica spent a whole day polishing and cleaning all floor surfaces, leaving them looking 100% better. I was happy at that point. But after waiting a couple of days for complete drying of the grout, they came back and spent another day and a half working on grout repairs and enhancements, as well as working on the wood floors. When I returned to see the finished product, I could not believe the transformation. It looked better than it ever had. It literally looked better than new. All the furniture was back in place and the floors glistened and it was ready to put on the market. I am sure that the unit will now sell more quickly, and it will probably have a final sale price markedly higher than it would have had the floors not been so dramatically improved. I believe the net difference will be dozens of times greater than the very fair cost of the services that Surface Experts performed. Aside from the obvious results and the return on investment, I enjoyed my interactions with this team. Paul is refreshingly old school in his approach, a proud true craftsman, who has a laser focus on the project, an emphasis on quality and communications, and meticulousness in every detail. Erica shows the same enthusiasm and does a fantastic job. In sum, Surface Experts were thoroughly professional and it was a pleasure to interact with them."
