"No the job was not completed. The owner and helper never arrived on time- 9:30am, took 1.5-2 lunch breaks and left between 3-4pm. The progress over 1 week was 1 small bathroom sheetrocked, floated, taped with a minimal amount of orange peel texture sprayed. The helper was moving a cabinet out of the room and lifted it by the granite countertop, breaking it in half. He also put a ladder in my acrylic tub scratching the surface. Once it was clear that the contractor would be working for free as the granite replacement would cost more than the overall job, he stopped work, spent the last day taking my broken granite off the cabinet, put it in his vehicle and left. He sent a text next day to tell me I still owed him $120. I looked up his ?address? and it is a property listed on Zillow as vacant. I was told by Angi Customer Service that each contractor?s name would have their license # posted. This is not true. Please do NOT believe anything Angi posts and vet each contractor yourself."
