"We love the look of our new Renewal by Andersen windows! Renewal by Anderson of San Antonio replaced four picture windows and a sliding patio door on our hill country home, and we're extremely pleased with the quality of the product and service. Our installation crew led by Brian Moore was on time, professional, and did a fantastic job of installing our our new windows and door while minimizing the mess. This was the second of our four-phase window replacement plan, and we're looking forward to replacing all of our remaining original windows with Renewal by Anderson of San Antonio!"

"Zen Windows replaced the windows on our 60+ year old house. The crew was friendly and courteous, the quality of work was excellent, and they did an outstanding job cleaning up. I accidentally over-paid, and would never have know if Dan had not called me about it and written a check to square things up. It was an outstanding customer experience and I would hire them again in a second."

"I called several Angie's List A companies with a short time frame (wanted windows done while dogs were out being groomed). I called on Monday, Jeff came by on Wednesday to give the estimate and showed up as promised on Thursday morning. Windows and screens look great. The sun room was added several years ago. We still had the screens on the previously exterior windows. Jeff suggested removing them since they were no longer necessary; gives us a better view of the back yard from the living room. We're very pleased with the results and recommend Jeff. <br />"

"We just had 12 windows replaced. It was a positive experience from start to finish. There were a few delays due to supply chain and the weather, But Jerry Dixon kept us informed throughout the entire process. His crew showed up on time, were professional and neat. We love the finished product. We have ordered the rest of the replacement windows. We highly recommend this company."

"Someone came out the very next day and gave me an estimate; he walked me through what the problems were, what my otpions were and what to expect. Actually he worked up three itemized estimates so I could decide with my husband.which type of door to get. The workmen showed up exactly when they said they would be here, took down the old doors, installed the new ones, and hauled off the old doors. They were very efficient and competent."

"I called them because of all the great ratings on Angie's List. Everything I read was true. The salesman was low pressure but very informative. They clearly have the best product for the price. I was a bit concerned about vinyl windows, but their product has aluminum framework inside the vinyl frames so they hold their shape. The price we received was very good for 40 windows. They delivered within the time frame promised. They called to arrange for a convenient date to install. When the installers arrived, they were extremely professional and courteous. There were 5 of them and they completed the installation in one day - amazing! We are very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul Ryan Windows to our friends."

"Cracked window was carefully removed and quickly replaced. It was done very safely, all from the outside. Price very reasonable, as this was a single-pane window. Company office was very professional, scheduled appointment at my convenience, and they arrived right on time."

FAQs for new windows service projects in San Antonio, TX

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
