"It went very well. Installers helped me prepare space and covered the space with plastic sheeting. They were very careful to leave the space clean, vacuuming up any debris. I appreciated the high quality of craftsmanship they displayed. Two windows were obscured glass in a 1974 orange color. The others were single pane regular windows. I wanted to get a clear view and illuminate a lot of the noise with the double pane windows."

"We had the BEST service from beginning to end with CAL REP Windows. Jimmy was so knowledgeable and really set my husband and I at ease with the whole process. The installation crew (Roger and another gentleman) was on time, efficient and very courteous. We have had them back twice to replace old windows and a french door and what a difference!!! We will be back for more! Superb Service and Attention to Detail!"

"They gave me a lifetime warranty on my windows including the slightest adjustment to a sliding screen. Then they check all my other sliding screens, as well. The service is beyond your expectations! I am always delighted when someone comes out and performs service more than what you are expecting."

"We replaced all of our windows, but opted to due it in 2 phases due to budget constraints. After meeting with a number of contractors and obtaining several proposals we opted to use another contractor for our 1st phase (6 windows) with Preferred Windows our 2nd choice. The difference between contractors could not have more eye-opening. After being very displeased with our 1st contractor, e.g., quality, professionalism, etc., we were ecstatic with the wonderful job Preferred Windows and Doors did. <br /> Preferred Windows and Doors was professional (promptly returned calls and e-mails, answered all questions, etc.), price competitive and able to work within our budget, and quality conscious (clean worksite, flawless installation, etc.). Tim (sales) and Alfredo (installation) were a pleasure to work with and would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone considering new windows (and doors). <br />"

"The salesperson was very helpful in informing me about the windows, and in noting the detailed description of the windows being ordered. These specifications were conveyed by San Gabriel Sash and Door to the manufacturer, T. M. Cobb. The windows were completed when they were expected and delivery was made at the agreed-upon time. I am happy with the quality of the product (the windows), so of course I am also happy with my retailer, San Gabriel Sash and Door. They were very professional, and the delivery of the windows went as expected. The deliveryman was very helpful in getting the windows unloaded and (temporarily) stored prior to installation. <br />"

"C& M Windows provided us with accurate estimates.  Our windows were Superior Aluminium Windows. We have a Mid Century Modern design house with 20 windows some of which  reach to the peak of the roof.  We have 5 sliders. (79 -1/2 ")  Some additional fabrication <br /> had to be fashioned in order to accommodate where windows and sliders met.  <br /> The installers were efficient, on time and cleaned the working area.  Our living arrangements were not interrupted. <br /> C& M Windows Co  (Patrick Clarke) were very easy to work with, answered our questions promptly and I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in having their windows upgraded.  We are also planning to have them renovate  our front entrance. <br /> <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in San Jacinto, CA

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
