"So far so good, still waiting on a correction on the invoice prior to work starting. Enrique and his crew would not begin the repair until a free evaluation of the entire foundation was done. This was obviously done to ensure there were no other issues causing the damage. This was a plus and great to know."

"<br /> Excellent job, very timely and professional. If you are around San Antonio and need pier and beam foundation repair, Pete is the man to talk to. I got 4 estimates, and all the other contractors were going to place the new concrete posts on footings that were only dug 12 inches deep. In S.A., with our clay soils, this is as good as throwing your money away. Pete dug his holes at least 2-1/2' to 3' deep, down to the "bedrock" (caliche) in some cases. He is not the cheapest, but the ONLY one of the contractors I talked to who speaks the truth. It is much harder to do it right (the way PHL does it), much more labor intensive, and more time consuming, but 12" deep footings will sink like torpedoes in our clay soil. <br /> Don't throw your money away, talk to Pete. <br />"

"We had great experience with Terminix providing inside and outside services. They were slighty more expensive than others that we researched, but found them to be worth the money. They have always provided extremely prompt service whenever we have needed their services. They also are very responsive outside of regulary scheduled appointments."

"I really appreciate David Wells coming out to evaluate my foundation and the need for repair. David was very professional, answered all my questions, and gave me peace of mind about any needed repairs. Moreover, David did not try to give me a hard sell. I was totally impressed by this and believe that Olshan Foundation Repair is a company that you can really trust. That means a lot in this day and age. I really enjoyed David's visit and learned a lot from our conversation. I will definitely recommend Olshan for foundation repair in the future."

"I cannot recommend A Frame enough. I was leveling and area for an unground pool. Well, my back yard has a significant slope and I had no idea what I was doing. Gene came out, gave me some suggestions and quoted me a reasonable price. He did what he was supposed to do, but went above and beyond. He fortified the leveled area to ensure the weight of the pool would not be an issue after it rains. He also noticed I was doing some landscaping improvements in my front yard. He brought over some things he was removing from another job and helped my yard look even better. A-Frame looks at your house as an advertisement for their business. Very thankful for this company and will use them again as need arrises."

"I had a new roof just over a week from contacting Texas Showcase Roofing. I would have had one sooner except rain gave them a couple day delay from when Raymond originally told me. I was extremely satisfied with both the timeliness and quality of there work. Raymond didn't try to sell anything more than I needed, and even offered a free upgrade from what my insurance company was saying. They started the job in the morning and were finished by the end of the day. I have already recommended them to two other people, and will continue to recommenced them to anyone in the area that I hear needs roof repair. <br />"

"I have lived in my house for almost 30 years. Because of popular concerns about mold, some dark edges I noticed on the louvers of my registers and an Angie's Deal for $149, I made an appointment to get the duct work cleaned. The guy was on time, explained the process, then went right to work with his vacuum-brush. I had to move my furniture out of his way, though, to set up his ladder. The total length of ducts in my house is less than 20 feet, so the sweeping/vacuuming part went pretty fast. I have 10 registers that were washed, and they certainly look cleaner now. When he started talking about mold is when I started feeling manipulated. I didn't know, and I am still not sure what mold growing in my ducts looks like. The guy showed me several spots he claimed was mold growing in the pink insulation, then told me how their mold killing chemical works. He claimed he was giving me a "deal" by using 2 vials of poison instead of one vial for an additional $700. Infusing the poison through my duct work certainly did not entail $700 of work. He just sat by the cold-air return for 10 minutes letting the poison mist get sucked into the furnace, then blown through the ducts. I have no idea what 1 or 2 vials of fungicide costs, but I am sure it is nowhere near $700. If you are thinking about getting ducts cleaned, shop around and ask about the cost of their fungicide in case they find some mold. The guy kept saying I should be grateful my "problem" doesn't require mold-remediation, which apparently is far more expensive. Angie's List lead me to believe I was getting a bargain, but now I feel like it was a rip-off. I can't be sure what I got for $950, but if I notice a problem in the next 6 months, Speed Dry will come back to my house for free. I guess that might be a "guarantee." The awful smell lasted for nearly 2 days. <br />"
