"It was a simple process to get the measurements done for new window. Cameron was very informative about the windows and was answering all my questions I had at the in time. I had one window it was a half dome on top and the room would always be super hot no matter how cold I got the AC down to since it was an old original window. Put the new windows in and every room felt nice and cool and now during the summer I don't need to have the AC turned super low. Thank you LB Installs."

"Working with Adorn Windows was easy and smooth. I appreciated their attention to details. They respected my time and showed up when they said they would and finished when they said they would. They kept my house clean through the process. They talked through the process of installation so I was comfortable moving forward, because I have heard horror stories of leaks after relaxing windows. I am confident in their work and my windows look great!"

"We love our new windows! My husband had to convince me because I didn't think the old ones were too bad, but what a difference it made! It's so quiet and I can already tell we will be saving a lot on heat and a.c. It's nice to get the rebate too. Bo, our salesman, was great! No pressure, just there to inform us and give us a very competitive bid. He was great to check back with us and keep us informed during the process. The installers were top notch! I couldn't believe how it looked like the new windows had always been there with no changes to our windowsills or openings. They cleaned everything as they went and did an excellent job. I'm happy to have the lifetime warranty, but don't think I'll ever have to use it because I can tell these windows are high quality. We got 24 triple pane windows and I love all the cool things about how they open and make it easy to clean and slide either way we need. I'm sure they will increase the value of our home someday when we decide to sell, but glad we get to enjoy them now. I highly recommend working with Synergy if you need window replacements!"

"Three of our home's original aluminum-framed windows had dangling ribbons of vinyl and quot;panelsand quot; and were sweating between the panes of glass. We asked Sears to come for an estimate first and the bottom-line--after a 3-hour presentation --was a choice of three classes of replacement windows ranging in price from $3070 to $4090 for the three windows. An energy-audit person from the utility company recommended that all ten of our aluminum windows be replaced and suggested calling H and H for their estimate. (They had replaced windows in his home.) Sears' presentation had been excruciatingly detailed, and they might indeed be wonderful windows, but Mike Holt came out to give his estimate, and he is also the installer. He told us that our construction could not accommodate Amsco's Energy Star-rated windows and gave us an estimate for their low-e Artisan and Studio lines. We paid $3050--total--for ten Artisan Windows. The work went quickly and smoothly. The windows look great. It was an especially cold winter and the heating bill reflected that, but the house felt less drafty, and I'm hoping the low-e windows help with the coming summer. <br />"

"The product looks great. The installer was a good guy, incredible fast and professional. the sales person was about an hour late to our original appointment for a bid and they delayed our installation for a day. because of our schedule there wasn't much of a inconvenience, but had we been busy this could have been a pain. But over all I liked them and the produce is great <br />"

"Great. My only 'complaint' is that Dave is in demand, so I've had to set up appointments a month or more in advance. This guy does good work, gives good advice and goes the extra mile."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Sandy, UT

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
