"I was expecting and prepared to have to tunnel or break concrete, but Morgan Leak Detection came in, located the leak and was able to bypass the bad line and reroute it with only a few simple to patch holes in the drywall. They were able to get a repair I expected to cost $7000 down to $2000. They are definitely not the cheapest guys in town if compared task for task, but they close the gap in service, honesty, and efficiency. I wanted a specialist for my problem and I was willing to pay to get the best. They delivered and I believe saved me a great deal of money in the long run. I had a friend with a similar problem a few weeks ago who got a huge quote from another plumber. I told her to give Morgan a call. Again, they found the leak and were able to perform a reroute that saved her money over the tunneling proposed by the other guy and Morgan was able to get to the job sooner to boot. This is definitely one of those cases of you getting what you pay for. They are a highly skilled company, do quality work, and won't try to jerk you around for more costly or complicated solutions. "I Highly Recommend Stacy Calahan at Calahan Construction & Air! It was in middle of summer 2019, hotter than you can imagine inside my house even with 2 portable a/c units running in LR trying to mitigate some of the heat while waiting on my a/c company to help me. I found Calahan Construction & Air... Stacy came out quickly diagnosed the problem right away, my unit was dead (I had been nursing it over last few years) but I couldn’t purchase a new unit until I got in a place to fund a house remodel. So, I needed a used 5 ton unit - not an easy ask, but Stacy found one and installed it w/in 24 hours for a price that did not break the bank (about the same cost as 2 top of the line portable air conditioners, which I returned!) He was professional, responsive, and quick at a reasonable price! "I called Jimmy as I did not have the right tool to remove the shower cartridge which was stuck due to old deposits etc.... Thanks to Jimmy for quick response...But price seems to be little high just to remove the cartridge...The person came did not have the extra screw etc. and as Moen did not send me the long screw, I have to make another trip later to Lowes/home-depot to find the right size screw and then assemble everything... Thanks anyway for the help...

"The provided services were outstanding and very thorough. I can not recommend these guys enough!              I had called multiple plumbing companies and received inadequate customer service. I finally came across Mark Masters. From the first phone call, Mark Masters Home Services was on the job immediately to scope out the work and provide an extremely competitive estimate. They explained multiple options and the pro's and con's of each path. After deciding how we wanted to proceed, they then returned promptly to perform the rough-in work, which included adding water lines and relocating a drain line. The rough-in work was completed within about a day and they left the area very clean. After the cabinets, counter tops, and kitchen sink were installed, they returned within a day or two of my phone call to complete the plumbing finish work. This included hooking up a refrigerator, dishwasher, kitchen sink, tankless water heater, and filtration system for our coffee maker. The neatness of the install is something to complement, as you can tell no shortcuts were taken to finish the job any sooner. Several of my colleagues have been commenting on how well the lines were run and the quality of the parts used. I am extremely happy with our new kitchen/break room and this experience has made it that much better. "

"Storm responded promptly to my email and was able to come by the same morning. He determined that the turbines were damaged and would need to be replaced. We already had some of the roof shingles. Storm went to Home Depot and purchased the replacement turbines and installed them and replaced the necessary shingles. He inspected the roof and added some needed silicone caulk. Storm detected the smell of methane from one of the turbines and asked to take a look in the attic. He showed me where one of the bathroom vent pipes was clearly damaged and we agreed that he would return the next day to repair the pipe.

"On my first inquiry I didn’t get a prompt response, but after having a home for 15 years and looking for various contractors this wasn’t exactly news. My second inquiry did receive a response with an apology and a day and time for an initial assessment. Wonder of wonders, someone showed up. Turns out he was what I think I remember is half owner of the company, Landry was the name if I remember correctly. Not a people kinda guy, more of a “let me measure everything and then I’ll deal with your inane questions” kind of guy. Waited for a quote for a week I think, sent an email asking about the quote and received an apology for the lateness and the quote. Wasn’t the cheapest I had received, wasn’t the most expensive. Hired. Their work was well beyond expectations. The job came in a little later than expected, about 3 days or so, but there are always unforeseen issues in a full kitchen remodel. Jackie, Carlos, and Jared were always responsive to all questions concerns and available with suggestions throughout the process. Any conflicts in scheduling of work to be done by their crew or subcontractors we were notified immediately, and I can’t express my appreciation for this enough. I highly recommend this company and plan to call them again on my next project."

"They did a great job! It went faster than I expected. I asked one of the guys if he had time, would he check a leak under my kitchen sink. He was very thorough. It turns out that we had a bolt still attached underneath the sink from a previous water filter installation. We needed a different type of bolt and he switched the bolts for free! He even gave me some much needed advice to help prevent further leaks from the faucet area. I really appreciated the extra mile! I am very pleased with Lone Star Water Services and would gladly recommend them to others."

"TL:DR The American-made equipment works very well. The company ultimately assured the installation was complete and correct. But it was a rocky road. It was easy to schedule an appointment with a sales person. He spent a lot of time trying to sell me a system, when in fact I'd already done my research and knew I wanted to buy their products if they could improve my water quality. The salesman was able to give me measurements of dissolved solids and pH, which was important to me. Installation was fast; within about a week, our system was in place! Unfortunately, the installation did not pass inspection. When I contacted EcoWater Texas about the problem, the owner said the inspector was being unreasonable, and this had never happened before. He said he was uncomfortable having his plumber do the work the inspector required, and I would have to find someone else to do it. He said he'd pay the cost if it was reasonable. I contacted the inspector to get a detailed explanation of the work to be done. The inspector came over and gave me a red tag, formally failing the installation. He said I should call EcoWater Texas and tell them I had the tag, and if I submitted the tag to the licensing board they'd make it right. When I did that, EcoWater Texas agreed to find a plumber to do the work and cover the costs. The new plumber finished the installation, and it passed inspection. I then asked EcoWater Texas to test my water to make sure the system was working as advertised. This took a little time, but the salesman returned and did the testing. That's when I learned the system was only treating half my water! The rest entered the house in a different place. Apparently EcoWater Texas didn't check for that when they did the original installation. So EcoWater Texas had the second plumber come back and tie in the rest of the house water. The entire process took several months."

They offered me a lot of advice on some alternatives and provided some info on where to buy parts that I needed. They returned after I had gotten the parts and installed it. They did a great job."
