"Highly recommend. The professionally dressed and polite moving crew arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently throughout the day. Not one minute of wasted time. They were careful both with my household goods and my home. When an unexpected event occurred (my storage unit was too small), they made the adjustment to move the truck and start unloading into a second unit (one I rented on the spot) without reservation or complaint. The owner/estimator who came to my home initially gave me great advice about how to prepare to make the move go as smoothly as possible and came well prepared for what I had. I was called the day before with a courtesy reminder about when they would arrive. It all added up to a great experience and value."

"I hired Andy’s to paint the foyer and stairwell of a two-story home plus an outside garage door. There was miscommunication between the crew and office and me on several occasions. There appeared to be no good plan for completing the work. It ended up taking parts of three days. The work was sloppy and paint ended up on the door, the floors, the carpet, the baseboards and the stairway bannister. I’m going to have to deal with all of that. On more than one occasion, I tried to point out the problems. I was assured they would be corrected, but they were not. I paid for this job in full, but I am far from satisfied and would not recommend hiring them again."

"I can't give enough praise for the work that was done. Work was done in a timely manner and showed up when they said they would. Cleaned up after and I am so pleased with the results. I already had a neighbor interested after looking at the work. I will definitely call ERG construction again should I need any work to be done."

"The team arrived on time and worked steadily. Windows were spotless except for a couple that had stucco on them. They explained before cleaning that the spots may not come off. They were able to get some of the stucco off and explained that over time it would wear off with additional cleaning."

"It could not have gone any better. From the home visit to provide an estimate, to the install - no hitches. Professional and courteous service from all those I was in contact with. I was provided with exactly what I wanted, no attempt to upsell. I was impressed that the owners provided both the estimates and did the installation. I couldn't be more pleased. A special shout-out to Natalie who went the extra mile and did it with a smile. Thank you."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Santa Fe, NM

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
