"Replaced a cracked windshield on my 3500 Dodge pickup. Made a next day (Saturday) appointment over the phone. Offered numerous times to fit my schedule. Arrived a few minutes early, job was started almost immediately and was out the door (at quoted price) in about 30-min. Technician was courteous and personable."

"I bought a townhouse that had all it's windows & doors installed by this company; As there were a couple of issues with the patio doors & a few windows I called them. Needless-to-say they honored this warranty but came out and fixed all the problems; Then I purchased a screen door for the front and they did a magnificent installation...!"

"My Window Man did a great job cleaning my windows, they look very nice. They only accept cash and/or check so be prepared to have exact change as they will not provide change. I paid $250.00 for a $244.87 invoice as they could not provide $5.13 in change. No Venmo or other electronic methods of payments an option."

"I am not happy. The window shade is good, one set of shutters works, the other three do not stay open when opened, they close themselves. The installer "fixed" them by bending the hinges chipping paint of one, scraping the shutter's frame on another, then pulling the hinge pin up so that the metal shows. Hunter Douglas told the sales rep that the shutters are not supposed to stay open, you only open them to wash the windows, otherwise all you can do is open the louvers. So you might as well get venetian blinds, those you could pull up. The installer was very skilled especially in caulking around the style I chose, however he was not given enough caulk to finish the job, and when he returned he was given the wrong kind. He called about a family emergency about 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard from him since."

"The main reason I'm writing this review is because a fairly inexpensive cabinet was broken in the move by one of the movers. Discount movers immediately had it fixed and delivered back to me within a week. I've been told that no other movers would be so quick or happy to repair something that they broke. I was so pleasantly surprised. The guys did a great job and I would definitely hire again. Probably one of the best moving companies in the city!"

"2001 Grand Prix GTP. Overall Services replaced and painted my broken plastic front bumper(I provided the bumper), the roof, and back bumper. They also painted some moulding and door handles that had faded- no charge for this part |They told me it would take a few days but had it ready the next day. I told them I hadn't arranged for transportation so soon so Wayne, the owner, drove to my house and brought me to their location. I can't tell the original paint from what they painted. Very good match. Everyone was friendly and professional. I got a 10% discount from their website, which they honored without question."

"It was a pleasure to work with Richard of Clear Sky Windows. I got an appointment scheduled promptly. He was on time and gave me a price before we started. He is better priced and does a much better job than anyone I have worked with before. It turned out there was some junk on the windows from when the house was restuccoed that he did not see when he gave me a quote. It took longer and more work to remove it. I requested he increase the price of the job to address this, but he declined. Richard was very respectful of my house and belongings, and careful not to damage any shrubs when working outside. All in all, an extremely positive experience and I intend to have him back in six months for regular upkeep."

"Happy with them. My wife and I have been with customer service and all, and we kind of know what we are getting into. Pricing. We were doing this on budget, and I am retired, and don't have an retirement fund. We have some bad windows, and we wanted things done, and everything was done in an good fashion. If I had to do it again, I would not sweat either window company."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Santa Fe, NM

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
