They wore booties (very much appreciated!) and laid towels under the windows as they cleaned. The exterior cleaning also included the screens which made a big difference. "Being retired I met with 11 different window replacement companies.  Wanted to do it right.  Contacted Pelican and met with Tim Skeer (owner) at my house.  Meeting lasted 1 hour, Tim is quite knowledeable, no pressure, very professional, later in the day I was emailed a quote on the project.  Went with Pelican to do the job, they installed Simonton window products ( 12 windows /  2 Patio doors ).  Installation team included Rico, Installation manager, Josh and Jake.  Process took 2 full days, the team took pride in their work, again very professional, they cared about their work product.  Finishing work follow up with Tito coming out to the house to do some additional molding work, again fine work performed.  Bottom line; quality product, quality installation team, fair price, would highly recommend you include them in your bid process. <br />"

"I had trouble with my garage door since I moved into my new house 12 years ago.  Mostly with the motor. About 5 years ago it wouldn't go up anymore. Thinking I needed a new garage door, I put kept putting off calling anyone. I finally decided it was time and checked Angie's List for reviews.  I am so glad I called AA-OK.  I called Jerome and we arranged to a time for him to come give me an estimate. He showed up on time. He gave me an estimate for a new door and a new door opener (motor) and then said, "your door is really fine; its just the springs that are broken. I can replace those and put a new opener in for you and it will be much less." Here I was expecting to pay $1500 - $2000 and he's telling me I can get a fix for $345.  Well, where do you find that kind of honesty? I could have kicked myself for waiting so many years. We scheduled another day and time for the work.  Jerome couldn't get to me for a little more than a week for which he apologized.  Apparently, he is busy with work (good for him) and is a one man operation.  I didn't mind waiting at all, though.  One the scheduled day, he called ahead and let me know he was coming. He did an excellent job and now my door works perfectly. <br />"

"I was originally looking for a mobile service that would come to our home and replace our windshield when I ran across this provider. The reviews were outstanding so I decided to go with a repair instead of a replacement. When I spoke to Mark on the phone I suggested an appointment for the following day but he explained to me that repairing small cracks as soon as possible was preferable to waiting even one day to prevent them from becoming larger Due to our schedule we could not be home until around 5:30 pm but Mark said he was willing to coming out at that time and met us at our home as promised. In a short time he had repaired the area to the point where the cracks were not even visible and we couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome.
