I also had 8 windows I wanted to replace as part of the project, and had a particular brand and model in mind. Peter had a fair and reasonable price that he quoted me in October 2021. When he did the job in October 2022, he kept the same price he originally quoted me. I supplied the windows myself; and even though Peter had never worked with those particular windows before, he was able to install them nicely. The lead re-inspection went through without any issues. Peter also took care of any remaining issues."

He provided all the information necessary, in addition the helpful online information, before making the sale, and there was no pressure for the more expensive models. He continued to be highly responsive and courteous even after we signed on the dotted line. The installation of 26 windows was done by a contracted team on the days it was scheduled to be done, and everything went well. The windows look very nice and provide the improved insulation we were hoping for. Obviously only time will tell how they hold up in the future, but I have full confidence that Matt will honor the warranty that should cover any potential issues. After the installation, one of the windows was hard to open and another one had a very small dent, probably from the delivery, but he fixed both issues without discussion. I recommend Zen Windows without any hesitation."

"Initial sales process went well. Estimate included itemized pricing of each window. Financing explained (and written) in clear simple language. Installation was when things started going downhill. Our most expensive large bay window was installed with a broken lock. It would was the installer who actually brought it to our attention. We were told customer service would follow up with us. A bathroom screen had a hole in it. Again installer was aware of problem. Overall installation was sloppy. I received an email from a Window World rep requesting a review. We told the rep about our unresolved issues with installation and told her a review would be forthcoming after we heard from customer service. This person apologized and again told us a customer service rep would call us That was on Feb 11 2022. No word yet from customer service. Not happy and cannot recommend."

I had them redo the entire exterior of my home; strip the roof and siding down the bare sheathing, new roof, new siding, new gutters and repair all the fascia. They stripped 3 layers of old roof off and replaced it then stripped half the siding off the house in the first DAY they were there. Everyone in the neighborhood was asking who these guys were and what their phone number was they were so impressed. There were a couple little things here and there that needed to be tweaked and cleaned up since it was such a big job and so much was changed. Every time I reached out to them I got a response back in less than 12 hours and someone was there fixing it within a day or two. They’re incredibly courteous, polite and value their customers. "Preface to this review - I am a MA licensed Construction Supervisor, and I am a Project Superintendent for large commercial projects for a Boston-area general contractor, so I speak from considerable experience with roofing contractors. In mid January 2020, I signed a deal for a solar power system, contingent upon replacement of my old roof. The solar company recommended Greater Boston Roofing, a company they had frequently worked with. I agreed, and they completed the job on January 29th. The company did a fantastic job. The crew was courteous, professional, and efficient. They treated my property with care, and performed the entire job in one day; almost exactly eight hours. The comprehensive project included the following: 1. Stripping all existing roofing 2. Removing two roof-mounted bathroom exhaust vents, re-routing the associated flex duct to soffit vents (to make that space available for a solar panel), and eliminating the holes by replacing that sheet of plywood - not just little patches 3. New ice & water shield 4. New air, vapor, and water barrier 5. New drip edge 6. New pipe boots on my plumbing and furnace vents 7. New chimney flashing 8. New ridge vent 9. New architectural shingles 10. Removal of all trash; the dumpster was gone by 7:30 the next morning When the crew arrived, the foreman discussed the job with me. I made him aware of a couple of details that I expected - one that was promised to me, and one that hadn’t been previously discussed. He took care of both of them without dispute and without asking for a change order. Safety - the crew followed proper safety protocol, including: 1. Installing temporary tie-off anchors at the ridge, and clipping on with ropes, rope grabs, lanyards, and harnesses. 2. Using a motorized ladder-climbing device to hoist the materials to the roof, eliminating the potential hazard of climbing the ladder while carrying a heavy load. 3. Wearing a Tyvek-type suit and full-face respirator while working around the multiple layers of insulation in the attic to re-route the bath exhaust ducts. Clean-up: 1. A dumpster was delivered shortly before the work started, and was placed exactly where I had previously instructed GBR to place it, with wood placed under the wheels to prevent damage to my driveway. 2. The crew set up large tarps to protect the house and my landscaping, and to facilitate easy clean-up. 3. When I arrived home at the end of the day, my yard was at least as clean as when they started. 4. The dumpster was removed early the next morning. I received an e-mail saying they were done, along with a link to a series of progress photos. This crew did everything the right way. The job has been done for over two weeks now, and the roof has performed perfectly in the rain. I highly recommend Greater Boston Roofing."
