They fixed the tuck pointing on our very old, crumbling limestone foundation and installed 3 glass brick windows. "In June, 2019, we wanted to have our floors redone in our attic, so my husband and I got in touch with Charles Jones of Nationwide Floor & Window Coverings. Our plan was to make our attic into an office for Reid. Charles, who’d given us an estimate a few years before, was extremely helpful and patient, explaining all our options in carpeting, vinyl or both! In addition, the previous owner installed only part of the subfloor in the attic, so the NFW installers needed to complete the subfloor before we could have carpeting installed. We also asked if they could install baseboards around the perimeter and that was a no problem! After Alex and his assistant completed the new subfloor, on the evening before the carpet installation, I moved a table in the area on the original subfloor to discover that a chunk of the floor was missing and covered by the table stand! I hadn't noticed this before and worried if the carpeting installers could fix this gap. I frantically called Charles, who reassured me he’d have Alex come back the next morning to plug it up. Charles took this last minute surprise in stride and his professional coordination of our project made the entire experience a big success! It’s no longer an attic, it’s a beautiful office space, with our lovely French Toast carpeting! The pricing was very fair. When we were looking to have our front and back doors replaced, we went to Menards to look at doors. While we were there, a sales associate recommended we reach out to one of their preferred contractors, George Krinninger & Sons, to assist us with replacing the doors. We did and it was the best decision. We worked with Mike and he was incredible. He was very knowledgeable, responsive, and walked us through the whole process. He even went out of his way to go with us to the store to help us pick out the right doors. When it came time for the installation, he showed up right on time, was incredibly professional, and a pleasure to chat with. When the project was done, he left the work area spotless and walked us through any features the doors/locks had. "I can't say enough good words about Peter, Voytek and their crew. We've had a few masonry issues in our building. In two instances, they identified that the cause of leakage was not with the brickwork, but with deteriorated window caulking, or the downspout. We appreciated their honesty. I looked high and low for a company to caulk the exterior of our high third level windows. STAR came through for us. They used a bosun chair to do the job. STAR also repaired and replaced bricks which were in disrepair, on the third level deck. Their workmanship was excellent. Peter and Voytek are very professional and knowledgeable. STAR communicated very clearly with us about their suggestions and plans."
