Scientific Home Services was one of those I called. While you won't see any advertisements for Scientific Home Services, their reviews put them at the top of my list. Based on the estimates I received, an examination of the windows being offered and their specifications, and the warranties being offered, it was clear that Scientific Home Services offered the best value for me. I got premium double-hung vinyl windows (Climate Solutions 8000 Series) with LoE-366 glass, argon fill, and a transferable lifetime warranty for only a few hundred dollars more (in total) than the other organization's basic window. Scientific Home Services crew installed all of the new windows in a matter of two days. The crew was organized and worked well together. They seemed to enjoy their work. When I pointed-out that a few of the windows appeared to be binding, or when they ran across other problems during installation, they knew what to do and properly addressed the situations. I'm very pleased with the new windows and their appearance, the service I have received, and how much better insulated my house now is. I highly recommend doing business with Scientific Home Services. If you're looking for windows, I recommend you give Jon or Mark a call.
