"We purchased a big deal for the service and it was fine, the guys did a great job. They were not able to wash a couple of windows, because there were screens on the outside, and that is what I learnt about the future, that I have to make sure that the exterior screens are removed before they come. This was the first time that I used them. I was pleased, because the gentleman called and confirmed the appointment, and he also called when the crew was at home, because I was not there when they cleaned, and I appreciated the professionalism. The pricing was fair, for the number of windows that they did."

"I had all the windows in my townhouse replaced, and since the process was new to me, I had a lot of questions.  Angle Construction answered them all.  From start to finish, Angle Construction was courteous, professional and helpful.   Their installation crew was efficient.  They cleaned up as they went.  The windows were installed in less than a day.  I'd recommend Angle Construction in a heartbeat.  Patty was the perfect point of contact.  She made sure that the windows were orderly quickly and installed as soon as they came in.  I appreciated her efforts on my behalf.  Thanks Patty and Angle Construction. <br />"

"In a nutshell, Sergio's work is top notch and he is a real professional. I had about 150 feet of fence replaced and Sergio's work not only met, but exceeded, my expectations. The work site was kept clean every day and the whole job was done much faster than anticipated. The work was so good, I asked him to add a gate, and he still finished it all on time and on the budget we agreed on. Very happy with his work. Check out his website and give him a call if you need work done. I'll certainly use his services again."

"Anthony was very responsive even though I asked a lot of questions, needed multiple quotes for different window configurations and had some followup items. His price was more reasonable than any of the other 3 vendors I checked with (including my contractor) and the work was done quickly and as promised. I was pleased with the service, the product and the responsiveness. <br /> <br /> One of the windows cracked after installation (contractor problem, not glass company) and Anthony got the replacement window (under warranty) quickly and without any fuss."

"We have done several remodel projects with Butch Fischer <br /> and each and every time our experience with Fischer Construction was <br /> fabulous!  Butch Fischer is meticulous, reliable, trustworthy, easy to <br /> work with, and highly intelligent.  He provided us with great project and lay out design.   <br /> Most recently he designed and remodeled our <br /> Master bedroom and bathroom.  We had an idea of what we would like, and Butch give it to us on steroids - better <br /> than we could have imagined. He treats every project as if it were his own.  <br /> Butch is a superior craftsman himself and expects no less from his workmen. The building inspectors are always extremely <br /> impressed with the quality of his work and have commented ?Butch makes my work easy?.  <br /> We can't recommend him enough!  He's also the best finish carpenter that we?ve ever worked with ? his work is <br /> exceptional.  Because Butch pays such attention to detail, we?ve come to <br /> coin his exceptional attention to detail as the ?B.S. factor? -  Butch Standard factor. <br /> <br />"

"<p>Max Baggett is a great guy to work with, friendly and accommodating.  He always got back to me in a timely manner when I called and explained clearly what he was going to do so I knew exactly what was going to happen. He's not inexpensive but he tries to keep cost down as much as possible while still giving you good quality work. I expect the workmanship will last many, many years.   He and his crew did a first rate job in upgrading my 1950's home.  He gave excellent advice and if he wasn't sure on some decorating point he admitted it.  The kitchen hadn't had any work done on it since the 1960's. The first job I had done was the 3/4 wall height paneling I had installed in the kitchen eating area.  It looks like something from a craftsman house. It instantly added interest in the kitchen. The next thing  was replacing the formica counters in the kitchen with silestone.  I also had a tumbled marble back splash put in at the same time to match the silestone counters.  I am very happy with the results.</p> <p>After that was remodeling the bathroom, also from the early 1960's.  It was gutted.  When replacing some walls it was found to have extensive termite damage, almost all the wood had been eaten where the bathroom window was.  The only thing holding it up was the outside of the house!  Max took me personally to pick out the bathroom sink stone top at a small stone yard so I didn't need to buy a huge piece, I appreciated that a lot.  So I saved  money there.  His talented work crew did a bang up job installing the tile in the room.</p> <p>The next to the last job done was evening and replacing all the floors in the house.  The kitchen floor wasn't the same height as the adjoining floors and people would trip going in or out of the kitchen.  That was fixed.  The carpet in the living room and bedrooms was over 40 years old and was replaced with a dark hardwood floor including the hallway.  New carpeting was installed in the bedrooms.  Crown molding was installed throughout the house.  The crown molding looks especially outstanding in the hallway.</p> <p>The last thing done was installing a gas insert and  covering the original brick fireplace with green marble.  I kept the original wood mantel.  The fireplace is a fantastic focal point of the room now.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>If I should need any more work done I would definitely have Max do the work as it is top quality.</p> <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Seaside, CA

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
