"At first, there was a warranty issue after Hurricane Irma and frustration. I am very excited to give an update about PRC. They are a wonderful company. Though there was an issue in the past, they have more than made up for it. I came to learn that the company was going through a major reorganization last fall, weeding out some "bad apples". This can happen in any business. PRC has gone above and beyond to make things right for me. Hiring Rick Phelps to run the show along side the top brass has proven to be an excellent move by the company. He is kind, called me regularly, stopped in to personally oversee the repairs, and made sure that superior quality and service was afforded to me and to the project. I cannot rave enough about how great both Rick Phelps and this company are. In fact, PRC went many “extra miles” for me in that they paid for things that were not even part of their original agreement. They reroofed my flat roof, bought me an expensive hurricane resistant (fantastic) wood and glass door, gutted the room, added a new ceiling, new walls, new thick insulation, fixed an air conditioning issue I had, hauled away old equipment, installed new, fixed an outside hole, rebricked outside, repainted and added carpeting of my choice to the room. It is gorgeous! In fact, when the Home Depot installers made an error on the carpet install, Rick got that fixed for me too. Be sure to choose PRC for many of your construction needs. Ask for Rick!"

"Bought Laminate from Lowes, and they had their installers do the work.  <br /> They honored special pricing and discounts were received.  All materials <br /> delivered except transition pieces - special order came direct from <br /> supplier.  Install Crew was friendly, punctual and did satisfactory <br /> work.  Estimator mis-understood our request and not all the materials <br /> were available for the job.  It took two additional weeks (over the 4th <br /> holiday) to get the necessary transition pieces.  Other than the small <br /> delay, the work was great and we love our floors.  Would go back and <br /> work with the flooring department again.  Great job.  <br />"

"Quickly! Each day something was happening on my job. First day was rough carpentry, second was rough plumbing, third was tile in the shower, fourth was tile on the floor, etc. You will not wait months for your job to be completed with Steve! <br /> <br /> The things that are outstanding: <br /> 1. Steve and crew shows up on time when they say they will be there (sadly this is huge in the world of construction). If for some reason they can't make it they call in a timely manner. <br /> 2. Steve gave a written quote that specifically wrote out the work that work be done by trade (plumbing, tiling, carpentry, etc). He very patiently went back and forth with me several times by email so I could make sure that they had the workscope exactly right. <br /> 3. When the tile installer laid my tile with the grout lines too big, both Steve and the tile company people were gracious about it, they came back that night and pulled up the tile, they relaid it the next day with the groutline size that I wanted. Even further when one of the tiles appeared too low to me after the second installation, Steve checked it and had the tile installer reinstall it so that the finish would look nice (instead of just using a ton of caulking to fill in a big gap between the trim and floor). <br /> <br /> Everything on this job went smoothly. When there were problems they were corrected quickly. Steve is excellent at communicating with you and letting you know what work will be done next."

"Dwight from Cornerstone Construction is the REAL deal! I am probably one of the pickiest people when it comes to contractors. I have never liked a single one, but Dwight is absolutely wonderful. They have remodeled our entire kitchen (removed our whole old kitchen and replaced it with a brand new kitchen including appliances, exhaust, backsplash, etc) - it looks perfect, which I NEVER say. I have no conflict of interest....I am tired of contractors who don't do a good job so when I found Dwight, I was ecstatic. "My wife and I purchased a house built in 1978 when we moved to Merritt Island. We knew that the garage had to be repaired because the previous owner had cut the trusses holding up the roof to make a bedroom out of 1/3 of it. I called Brevard county Building department for references. They gave me several. Macik was among them. Some that I contacted also referred me to Jeff Macik. We contacted Macik and was impressed with the knowledge and honesty of Jeff and his son, Joe, who own and run the business. We also decided that the old very poorly constructed closed in “porch” had to go because we had hurricane damage and roof leaks in it. Jeff and Joe were very patient with my wife and I while going through the process to get a major project (complete new bedroom and bath addition along with total garage repair) to contract that was acceptable to all. We did not know how good our decision was to use them until the construction started. They were great. Very concerned about cleanliness, disturbing of our living here while under construction and just making us feel like family with the helpful polite full time help that they employ to do most of the work. Cindy and I have built multiple houses and remodeled some as well. I can say without a doubt, Macik was the best builder we have ever worked with. They were on time, kept to schedule, got us through holidays and medical issues with no problems and were fair and honest. They have some of the best subcontractors because they have vetted them over the past 20 years.
