"I thought I would need a new battery because the system kept alarming. I had to disconnect the backup system until I could have it checked out. When CK Construction checked the system they found the sump pump had shifted and the bulb was stuck. He fixed the problem and readjusted the pump so it wouldn't interfere with the backup pump. Then he reattached the backup system. I appreciate CK Construction's prompt and professional service and would consider using them again.

"Braxton came as scheduled to level up the various slabs of concrete in our driveway. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. We are pleased with the work he did and the level of service he provided! The weather did not allow him to finish the job to his satisfaction. So, he returned a few weeks later when the weather was forecast to be dry for the day to seal the cracks and cover them with sand. Not only was the end result aesthetically-pleasing, it is sealed now to protect from any water getting underneath the concrete slabs in the future. He and Landon were professional, thorough and efficient. Highly recommend!"

"I've read reviews from other people, and it's interesting how people can have different experiences. I had a 26X65 concrete slab put in, and culvert put in along with some grading done. Kevin came when he said he would and did what he said he would do. I guess my experience overall was one that hit a lot of different angles. The work done was great, but there were some misunderstandings that was of no fault of Kevin's, but I made them his. One of which was no fault of mine, either, but the company led me down the wrong path painting the picture that what Kevin was supposed to do didn't. As I was out of town, I called him up and voiced my displeasure. He responded very professionally and explained the situation to make me understand that he did do what was asked of him. A couple other times, a text went awry and something else that I have since forgotten. But each time he handled himself professionally and had no attitude despite being falsely accused. I'm sorry to hear of other people's situation, but I can only speak for myself and what I experienced. The other thing that impressed me was Kevin was willing to haul his equipment, and did, from a few hours away to regrade an area that this company said they couldn't get across, which was the companies miscommunication. The other thing is response time. There was one time it took a while for him to respond, but living in a rural area, and given that if you're in the middle of a job, I can't expect someone to always be available. One time we even lost connection due to how things are. Just something to keep in mind if you live in an area with ONE bar : /"

"Before we painted our brick home we wanted to repair the stucco (parging) on the foundation. We live in St. Matthews. Home was built in the 50s. Parts of the foundation were missing the top ledge, other parts were just chipped off and/or shoddy looking from the previous owner's DIY work. C. King Construction fixed all the issues, squared off the edges, and even textured the stucco to look like the concrete not getting repaired. The guys explained what they were doing and were friendly. The owner is a good, honest guy."

"Called and Mr Mayne came out in a few days at the time he said he would arrive.  Gave estimate of $300.00 and that is exactly what he charged.  Amount charged was a fair deal.   Said would call back in a few weeks because had lots of jobs ahead of me.  I had to end up calling him about 4 weeks later (I was not in hurry to get fixed so OK).  He came out next few days on appointed day and broke up old concrete and poured new.   Was done in about 6 hours.   I would definitely use this company again"

"They did an absolutely fabulous job.  They had to hand dig the hole to reach the base of the crack prior to sealing.  The job was performed perfectly and all water infiltration has stopped.  The filled the hole, graded neatly and cleaned all residue soils. I would certainly use them again.  The showed up on time to provide the estimate.  And again to correct our problem.  a great service provider.
