"Matt and his team with MNB Renovations did a 32 x 24 addition that was basically a home build from the ground up. I am still surprised for the size of this project how stress free the process was. Matt was very detailed and checked in on everything to make sure we were getting what we wanted. In the end he asked us to make a list of anything that needed to be addressed and there was absolutely nothing to mention. They did a perfect job, the quality of the work is amazing, and the entire team was very nice, professional, and trustworthy! I absolutely recommend this company to others and will definitely use them again in the future!"

"I had the ugliest kitchen ever! I immediately called the ONLY company I would let work for me, On Call Contracting Services. John immediately came out and gave me an estimate, but before the estimate he had me set up with an architect to redesign my lay out and John made some great suggestions that the architect put into effect. John worked the estimate to fit my budget and I decided it was now or never so I signed on the dotted line! And his company did quite a remarkable job! I couldn't believe the transformation from what I had to live with for years, to what I now LOVE and enjoy being in my kitchen again. Thank you John Ott and all the men who did this gorgeous transformation! They were THE most courteous workers I've ever dealt with. They cleaned up the area completely each day before they left. They were very careful not to let my cats out when they came in and out of the doors. They even called one morning to say they were running late but would be there within the hour. What contractors do that? They work quickly but they do such a fantastic job! I encourage everyone to call this company for anything, any kind of work you need. I would never call anyone but On Call Contracting Services, they're the best and I have been using them for years and I have referred them to all my friends!
BTW, I have also read the previous reviews and I'm not sure if Mr Barlow is talking about the same company as I am. Because On Call Contracting is FANTASTIC and they are only a phone call away and respond immediately.

"We just finished a home addition with BMR Belmax Remodeling, and we could not be happier. We have worked with many contractors over the years, but Max and his team were the best by far. From the first meeting, Max was involved every step of the way, making sure we were happy with the progress. He provided detailed architectural drawings and a 3D rendering that made it easy to picture the final design. Max handled everything—from permits and materials to planning and organizing the project. Our addition included a new kitchen, bathroom, living room, deck, and laundry room. Even with such a big project, the process was smooth and stress-free.The quality of their work is amazing, and they were so easy to work with. We are thrilled with how everything turned out and highly recommend BMR Belmax Remodeling!"

"Bill and his team did a variety of home repair and improvement projects on my 40+ year home Fall 2024. We a couple months. These included: repairs : replacement of wood sub flooring/framing in basement ceiling/upstairs, covering outside side door concrete steps on slate, and cresting a new sidewalk to lead up to it, cleaning front of house stonework and putting protectant on it, building new short frame and drywall in order to replace old closet doors, dry walling and painting interior room and more. What impressed me most were the professionalism and expertise of Bill and his team in every way. Quotes were detailed, and multiple options were provided when needed. I was kept informed of daily schedules and progress, the contractors were skilled, meticulous and excellent with prep and cleanup. Personally, they were conscientious, diligent and trustworthy, as well as patient, friendly and kind, including with very curious twin five year olds there several afternoons a week."

"Everything went beautifully. Luis came to the house soon after I called, and went over everything with me. He submitted a very good estimate right away. After we agreed, he returned within a few days with colors, and we spent about an hour selecting colors and textures for all the rooms. His suggestions were excellent, and he easily grasped the concepts I was trying to acheive for all the rooms. Within a few days the job was started, and was completed very quickly - within three days. There was minimal disruption to my daily activities at home, and I was able to sleep in my bedroom every night because the workers were so good about how they left things at the end of each day. When the job was completed, Luis went over each wall with me to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction, and the few touchups that needed to be done were taken care of the next day. Luis and his staff were extremely professional, prompt, and responsible. He communicated often and clearly with me about the project, and I feel that the price was excellent for the work that was done. I am happy to say that I can recommend Luis Ribero and Fine Painters without any reservation as an outstanding house painting service!!"

"Hunt General Contracting is very responsive, professional, and communicative. They took care to minimize dust and dings while installing new walls and floors. The old plaster walls and popcorn ceiling looks brand new with their excellent skimming job. The floors were installed without complications. I will be using these guys again in the future for general contracting work.

"Went above and beyond, installed new fixtures and updated some of my pipes. I couldn't have asked for a job to go any smoother."

"When we first met with Lew Merryfield, our home was a disaster.  Smoke and intense heat had made it necessary to completely gut and restore our home.  It was a time of great despair and confusion.  Lew was very reassuring that his company would be able to handle to assignment and allow us to return to a home that was better than ever, and agreed to bid the job in the format requested.
After the contract was signed the Merryfield Construction Group was very active, and progress was made every week.  We opted to hire our own subcontractors for plumbing and HVAC, and an electrical contractor recommended by the provider.  The provider and their staff worked well with the other contractors and were communicative with us during the process.  A promise to never abandon working on our home for any significant period of time was kept.  Building options and recommendations were presented at appropriate times and were appreciated.  Lew and his brother George worked with us to solve problems that arose and we always felt like it was a partnership and that they took great pride in their work.  Additional work outside the original contract and work change orders were appropriate and reasonably priced.
The fire was one week before Christmas in 2013, and we were able to move back in late October 2014.  Although this time frame was slightly outside of the original estimate, it was not considered unreasonable given the nature of the work and the change orders. After we moved in, the provider has done a nice job on following up any problem areas and punch list items.
We are very happy with our "new" home and are confident that the provider will continue to stand behind the work.  The overall job turned out much better than we could have expected.  Lew and George Merryfield, and their staff, particularly Tom Ferry, Sean, and Scott, were always respectful and friendly, and took obvious pride in their crafts.  In conclusion, we are glad we selected Merryfield Construction Group and would not hesitate to use them again in the future or recommend them to others."

"Work was fantastic. Response time was immediate. They came to house to give quote I accepted and they began work immediately finished the job in one day and just needed to stop in 2 consecutive days in the morning to finalize as the patch work needed to dry. Repair was a 4’ tall by 3’ wide upside down T shape draywall removed due to leaking plumbing. Wall had curve and needed to match perfectly for trim to fit back on and not show the lines of new drywall. Wall looks as good as new and no repair can be seen after painting. Could not be happier with the entire experience."
