From planning to execution, the Hive Team (Ben, Robert, Teddy, Steve) was attentive, professional and ethical as they brought our vision to life. During the planning phase, Ben was uber-patient as we worked through ideas and different options with materials and budget. He spent time with us in our home, even connecting his laptop to our big-screen TV so we could see our design come to life. During the actual project, both Teddy and Steve were very responsive, and the crew was very polite and respectful. "If you are thinking about building a new pool or remodeling your existing pool without question I would recommend Hollywood Pools and Spas. My pool and spa was 26 years old and in need of a complete renovation. My experience with Hollywood Pools and Spas was outstanding, starting with my first meeting with Jason who explained all the features and options they offered and then through the entire renovation process. All of their workers were very professional, experienced and extremely easy to work with. I was also very impressed with the owner Ron. During our remodel Ron was there checking on everyones work and once in a while pointing out areas he didnt like which I couldnt even notice. Very impressive! I cant emphases enough the trust that Ron, Jason and the team at Hollywood Pools and Spas leaves you with. As an example, once the pool remodel was complete we were going to add a waterfall over the swim out. After meeting with Ron and his rock guy that was building the water fall. Ron calls early the next morning and tells me he was thinking about the waterfall all night and thinks it would overwhelm the pool and recommended we not go forward with the construction. What company would pass up another $4,000 because they didnt believe it was the right thing to do for their customer? Im telling you no other company!! One more important note . two months after our pool was completed I had a couple of minor issues with the operation of the pool not related to the renovation. I kept calling my pool maintenance company to correct but they couldnt locate the problems. I finally called Ron to ask for references of other companies that might fix my problems. The next thing I know Ron and Jason are at my house for two days identifying the issues and correcting them. What other company can you call two months after they were paid and get help??? In the past several months I have had work done in our home by well established companies and never hear from the owner during or after the work was completed. Hollywood Pools and Spas is a great company you can trust and relay on!! The pool and new travertine deck were completed on time and looks unbelievable!! See pictures. Richard"

"Getting a pool is a huge decision!! There may be hurdles to jump thru, preparations that need to take place, I.e. moving power and or water supply lines, sewage lines etc. In my experience. The hardest part of building a pool is finding the contractor who does what the say they will do. In the early stages of looking for a pool contractor we couldn't even find one who would simply return a phone call,text or email within 2-4 weeks... I would lose my job if I treated people that way. Upon meeting Mr. Doug Tilney, I was skeptical. more like jaded. Doug was extremely professional from the beginning. He understood our frustrations, he listened to exactly what we wanted. Offered a quote within literally 2 hrs after meeting him. Has returned every phone call, text or email we have sent. Within 4 visits to our home the pool shell was built. (AMAZING)!!! It's Truly refreshing to have worked with this company. I've heard all the nightmares with pool companies and subcontractors. we spent the better part of 5 yrs just trying to get a pool. Doug explained to us in the beginning that he has good people working for him that they all have families and they are all hungry!! He further explained, he doesn't need our money to start the job!! Which is huge because there are alot of not so professional people out there who take people's money and leave them with a hole in their backyard and a empty bank acct!!! I had a really good feeling about Doug when he sent me a honest quote, wasn't trying to make a million dollars off us and as soon as permits were approved there was a big hole in my backyard. Immediately dirt hauled away and rebar set. in the same day!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Tilney pools had our permits pulled, hole dug, rebar formed, shell shot, coping and tile, deck laid, plumbing and electrical, heat pump and equipment installed, pebble tech installed and literally as I'm typing this the hose is filling up the pool. In Construction, This has been the best Customer Experience I have personally ever had!!! Doug Tilney and All his guys Are True Professionals!!! We are forever Grateful / Thankful to them. Finding true professionals like this was not easy. They simply have higher standards!!!
