"Aaron Lenker add Corbin Gillichbauer of Groundworks leveled concrete walks around my corner lot in Montoursville Pa. They arrived around noon time and were finished about 5 1/2 hours later. They did their work very professionally. They did an excellent job. I would rate their work 5 of 5 stars."

"Marcos and his crew redid my back patio by pitching it away from the house so water would drain . He also added on to the patio using both my pavers and additional ones . He used Belgian blocks as an edge. Most importantly, he fit pieces perfectly around areas which could not use a whole paver. Magnificent job all around."

"I found them on Angie's List. They do a good job and I am still using them. The owner is on it, really nice and flexible. This last year I have given them a lot of work. They are handling everything well. They do landscaping, tree service and masonry walls. They are reasonable, the quality is excellent and they will fix things until they get it right without charging me. They make sure that I am 100% satisfied. They will do extra things without charging me. They do not nickle and dime me. He will sometimes sub-contract the work. I will continue to use them."

"We replaced our brick steps with new Blue Stone with rock risers. <br /> Anthony Franze and his father Cosimo were fantastic and knowledgeable masons. <br /> Anthony and I picked the actual blue stone cut from one slab so the steps matched. We picked the risers together and he <br /> provided me with a detailed sketch on the placement of the stones. <br /> His men are highly skilled masons, polite and professional. The job took 2 days and it looks fantastic. He <br /> doesn't do carpentry, so I had to get someone else to put in the new railings. They carted away the debris, and cleaned up the site. Their price was good for the amount of work and quality they provided. I had interviewed others who claimed they were masonry people, but really they were landscapers or gardeners. Franze Masonry are truly skilled masons. <br /> His price was right on target, but I decided to add a more expensive finish once he showed me my options. Since this was <br /> a long term project, I opted for a rough edge cut to the stone which I preferred. I am very happy with his work, the quality of material provided, the aesthetic of the job, and their craftsmanship. I would highly recommend them and use them again. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Sherman, CT

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
