"This crew was great. Very knowledgeable and understood my needs and limitations involved due to weather conditions , location of sewer line and the urgency of repair. They had to dig through our driveway which was where part of sewer line was and were able to disrupt the the area as minimally as possible. Tricky job for sure as the water table was so high in the ground they ensured we were able to get our vehicles in and out of our driveway with enough stone to prevent cars from sinking. They will even follow up later as ground drys to ensure any settling of soil is addressed. Very reasonable price and quality work. 5 Stars!"

"The crew showed up early on the date provided by Mr. Froais.  The gutters were cleaned; some of the new guards were installed, and they left the broken (replaced) ones for my inspection."

"A hard rain caused the patio drain of our 100+year old house in Brooklyn to back up, flood the patio and prevent us from flushing our toilets. (You said you wanted detail so here goes.)  Instead of going into the sewer, the contents of the toilets emptied onto the patio. (Gasp!)   After one plumber worked for three hours he couldn't solve the problem, and two other plumbers (one from Angie's List) passed on even trying. One plumber said we need a "drain specialist" and referred us to Kenny at Response Service Group.
When I called Kenny his response was immediate, detailed and professional. He took time over the phone to ask me several questions to help him assess our situation. After ten minutes we set an appointment for the next day and Kenny was there the next morning. He first checked out our house and plumbing set-up, and then he and his assistant set to work with a "super-snake."  Within two hours he had cleared the clog and we were happily flushing our toilets again and the patio drain was dry as a bone. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
