"Just finished the replacement of 28 windows and one sliding door. All aspects of the project were above expectations from the initial consultation with Danny and quote to the final installation. The Marvin Infinity windows are first class and coupled with the expert installation have transformed the look of my 32 year old house. My installer Eddie was the hardest worker I have seen in a very long time. His expertise and attention to detail were outstanding. A significant rebuild was required for my new kitchen window and Eddie did a masterful job reconfiguring the area including a new roof in that area. The alcove in the living room with 6 windows presented challenges with all the exterior trim work required but came out perfectly. Weather presented a challenge on several rainy days but it hardly slowed him and his helper down. In today’s world it’s hard to find people like this that care about the quality of their work."

"Very hard to initially schedule a time or receive call backs but once the time was set up, everything went very well. They had limited product selection but we were able to do all windows but one and the coverings came in much ahead of schedule and installation was very quick and well done. Installation and cordless shades were no upcharge which kept the price down quite a bit."

"Companies that do great when everything goes well are one thing. But sometimes, jobs go sideways. It happens. That's when you really find out what kind of a company you're dealing with. Kirkland Glass & Mirror has done a number of glass replacement jobs for us, and they had always done a great job in the past. However, a recent replacement job involved an odd-shaped parallelogram. When it turned out that the fit wasn't quite right on the initial replacement glass, Mike and his technicians did what it took to make it right. In the end, it took several tries to get the proper fit, but they stuck with it until the job was competed to our satisfaction. And they were friendly and pleasant to work with throughout the whole process. It's clear that customer satisfaction is their priority, and they will remain our go-to company for our window and glass needs."

"Beyond expectations. Had other window cleaner refuse to take off storm windows because of their age and condition. Dan had no problem with that. Very thorough job. Windows had a LOT of grime and required a lot of work. He was prompt and very pleasant to work with. I'm having him come back again in early summer to keep up the maintenance. <br /> Definitely would recommend his company again. <br />"

"We solicited estimates from 4 companies. Pete was on time for all appointments and very communicative during the bidding process. Since we were replacing aluminum windows, Pete pointed out that the new windows would sit differently in the existing steel frames and the sills would be deeper on the inside. He also took the time to show us how the windows would look from the outside with the built-in fiberglass trim. Pete was very patient with us as we took our time picking out an exterior color. <br /> <br /> Reglaze was very easy to work with - Pete listened to what we were looking for and provided multiple options. He also proactively provided recommendations and advice. Wayne and Craig were punctual each day during the installation and typically wrapped up by late afternoon. They worked around our 2 small children and 100 lb dog very considerately. They were remarkably quiet during installation which was helpful as I typically work from a home office. All 3 guys were very friendly and took the time to explain everything they did. <br /> <br /> Detailed oriented - Wayne built custom wood framing around the interior that helped the windows blend into the frame. He also consulted with us on what color to use for the outside sealant so that the seal would blend in with our grout color and the detailed window trim would stand out. <br /> <br /> Very clean - Wayne and Craig cleaned up each night and were very careful around the house, which was impressive because most of the windows were installed from the inside and there were several things that had to be moved. <br /> <br /> Reasonably priced - Reglaze wasn't the lowest bid we received, and we also had to wait a bit longer for installation - but they were competitively priced (4 bids) and very helpful during the bidding/design process. Pete took the time to really walk through our ideas and offer his own. <br /> <br /> High quality work - we are very impressed with the new Migard Ultra windows and the work Reglaze did. It's much quieter in our house now and our energy bills have dropped. The window choice and quality installation significantly improved the and quot;curb appealand quot; of our 1940s brick home. <br /> <br /> Reglaze is a small, local company - the owners do everything - bidding, ordering and installation. That definitely made a difference for us - they obviously had a vested interest in making sure things were done right and it showed. We had a level of trust with Reglaze that we were looking for - we felt no pressure during the sales process and wanted to work with a local company with a long history in the business. <br /> <br /> We couldn't be happier with our choice of Reglaze and would highly recommend them."

"The repairman came right on time, as promised. He laid out floor protection throughout the home to catch any debris or moisture. He meticulously took out the old and installed the new, cleaning as he went. He polished up the windows to where you thought there wasn't even a window in place. It looked flawless! I'm super impressed and will use them in the future to replace more windows when needed. I highly recommend!"

"I need four 40 year old window screens that needed replacement. My remodel contractor recommended Screenman. It took them about two hours to manufacture the four new screens on site. They removed old screens and tie downs and cleaned up after themselves. I was amazed at the quality of the screens and the fit. I would recommend this company to anyone who has old, torn, or damaged screens. The price was reasonable as well. Great company."

"<p>I contacted All Service glass in order to replace the glass panes on multiple windows where the seal had failed and the windows were foggy.  When they came out to measure the windows, I was informed that since I was the original homeowner, the particular brand of windows had a lifetime warranty and I could get the panes replaced under warranty.  (Something I had never been told by my builder or the many other glass companies who have replaced foggy panes over the years.)  By informing me of the warranty, All Service lost over $1000 in business; however, they gained a loyal customer.  They even sent me the contact information I needed to file the warranty claim.   I did at least order some glass for a shelving unit as well as new window screens.  If I need any glass items in the future, I guarantee I will purchase from All Service Glass. </p> <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Shoreline, WA

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
