"It went great! I called on a Monday around noon, and Paul came out that evening to give me a quote on 2 replacement garage doors and 2 new, quieter openers. "We hired Young Remodeling to install a complex and custom pantry near the back door alcove of our kitchen.  We own an old home, so our kitchen is small.  The new pantry was/is designed to help add counter space to the main kitchen area by providing cabinet storage for a microwave oven, as well our toaster oven and coffee maker via a quartz counter top.  We also wanted to add additional storage via 4 custom cabinets.  Special pullouts were designed for storage containers in a lower cabinet, as well as a pullout bar beneath the microwave.  Young Remodeling did fantastic work on all facets of the job.  From recommending vendors, to providing design options, to ensuring quality in the cabinets, counter top, and tile, and of course the install - it was all top notch.  The end result is absolutely stunning. Of note, we would have given Young Remodeling high marks for the work in general, but they get exceptional points for problem solving. We had a severe challenge with one of our door options.  Working with my wife and I they were able to create a unique sliding door solution that actually performed better than the original design.  It looked amazing and didn't add any costs.  All in all, they are just fabulous to work with and their work product is of the highest standards.  We plan to continue to work with Young as we continue to remodel our plaza area home. <br />"

"The siding and insulation projects have been completed.  The other two projects will take place after our daughter and her family completes the construction of a new house and moves out of our house.  The fact that my wife and I were not living in the house during the insulation and siding projects made it more difficult for us to interact with John?s crew and crew leader, Ryan.  However, we were, and are very happy with the work they performed.  It was obvious that they take pride in their work and wanted the end product to be completed to our satisfaction, and theirs.  As an example, Ryan contacted me to ask if I wanted new lights installed around the house rather that replace the lights that were removed during the removal of the old siding.  I had not given any thought about new lights but obviously quickly decided I did not want the old lights reinstalled.  There were other instances in which Ryan and his crew could have done things easier, but took the time to make sure that the work was done right.   <br /> <br /> My roof was replaced in June 2012.  I also wanted new guttering with gutter guard installed.  I was told I should wait and have the new guttering installed after my new siding was installed.  Butler Enterprises does not install guttering.  However, John subcontracted the guttering installation and his crew did install the gutter guard.   I was happy with the guttering installation and very impressed with the gutter guard John installed.  In the past I?ve had to clean out my guttering several times a year.  Based on my views of the new gutter guard, I don?t see how I?ll ever have that problem again.   <br /> <br /> After all the work was completed, there were a couple of minor issues that needed to be corrected.  For example, the new motion activated lights I purchased were not adjusted quite right.  Ryan was there the same day or the next day to fix the problems.  My wife and I are very pleased with the work performed by Butler Enterprises and we will have them do the additional inside projects after our daughter has moved out of our house.  We have had several comments from our neighbors regarding how nice the house looks now."

They helped me deal with an emergency problem very quickly. <br /> I inadvertently locked myself out on the balcony of my condo two days ago without a cell phone or keys. Unfortunately I had to kick in the glass to get back inside. I needed to get this glass replaced ASAP. After a frustrating experience talking with a few other contractors in the area, I bought an Angie's List account and found Vantage Point. <br /> Matt was quick to respond, and communicated very well throughout the process. The two gentlemen who came out to perform the work were very professional, and even cleaned up several areas of broken glass that I had missed. They worked very quickly and efficiently to replace the glass, and their workmanship was top notch. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
