"At the beginning of the experience with The Window Man, it seemed that it was a wise choice to choose them out of the 3 proposals we had gotten for Window and door replacement. The staff seemed knowledgeable, and answered all questions and worked with us on coming up with a good design. However, after the orders were placed it ultimately became quite an unpleasant experience. A promised 8-10 week job turned into an extended 16 week nightmare. There was little to no communication after they got a very large 50% cash deposit and when they finally did call after 6 weeks it was to say they could not do the job as specified on several windows and couldn’t get the door to swing the way it should. The manufacturer was Marvin (supposedly one of the best) and there seemed to be no one from The Window Man communicating with them either. To make a very long story short, we had to cancel the Door unit because they never could figure it out and then accept the windows smaller than specified, which meant they did some very subpar reframing, drywall and trim work to compensate for the problem they created doing that. Among other installation deficiencies, they got spray foam all over new Hardie siding that was never followed up on or fixed and the caulking they used is now all turning a bright yellow against the white fiberglass frames of the windows. We were left with dirty, streaked windows that they sent someone back out to clean without a ladder tall enough to reach. For nearly $30,000, nothing went as expected and their customer service, once they were paid, was nonexistent. Very disappointed and dissatisfied in The Window Man and the quality and skills of their installation team. Jury still out on the quality of the Infinity fiberglass Windows from Marvin. It will take a couple of seasons to know if they were worth the money or hassle of replacement."

"Miguel installed ceramic tile backsplash in my kitchen, a recessed medicine chest in the bathroom wall, added a wooden frame to a wall mounted mirror and replaced a broken door frame. He and his worker were professional, neat, fast and efficient. The job cost didn't change and he finished on time. All of the workmanship was excellent and he went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy."

"Exceptional work, high quality, gorgeous windows and all finished surfaces, totally professional and courteous work crew, and superb project manager. I am so pleased the outcome of this project. I ordered 12 vinyl replacement windows (including a garden window in the kitchen) after researching thoroughly and receiving several quotes. I chose this company due to their highly favorable reviews from review sources and their top ratings and the beautiful, top quality windows they offer. (While many people dislike vinyl windows for their appearance, the windows this company offers would likely change their minds - they are elegant and simply beautiful.) My project manager is exceptional - very courteous, knowledgeable, supportive, and professional. He came out to my house and did a thorough inspection of my windows, sills, frames, etc. He was not pushy at all while explaining what he and his company can do and answering all my questions. He provided an estimate on the spot (and held to his estimate all the way through to completion of the project). I also asked him about several other areas around the house where the wood was rotting. He included these areas in the estimate without additional charge. Windows arrived on time (about 6 weeks after I ordered them), were installed in less than 8 hours, look so beautiful, and are very well priced. (This was actually the low bid and especially good considering the additional work I needed.) Quality of work by installation team exceeded my expectations. They are true craftsmen as reflected by the beautiful work they did on the outside window frames and flawless operation of the windows. And the team went the extra mile providing the additional services with just as high quality of craftsmanship. They cleaned up all debris, swept outside areas, and vacuumed inside areas all with the utmost courtesy and respect. I highly recommend this company and will be hiring them again next year to complete my window replacement project on the entire house."

"Installation was fine. However two days after installation, one window has cracked. It has now been 10 days and no one has followed through with my multiple emails and text messages. They were really responsive when trying to make a sale but now that they have been paid in full - I have been ghosted. "

"LHR has been outstanding for our home. We had a rough storm come through which caused roof damage and LHR guided us through all the steps it would take to get us a beautiful new roof. Detailed pictures of the damage and estimates were shared with us in a non “pressure tactic” setting. From there, they worked with us on picking options of type, color, and shape for our shingles as well as any add ons we may like. Then availability was shared and flexible around our schedule. The install went great! Very professional, efficient, and kind install team. Through it all, LHR was transparent, responded quickly to any and all questions we had with great answers, and incredibly friendly. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a great customer service experience, great price, and great product. "Our experience with Shiner was disappointing. We arranged for them to replace our roof and siding. The roof work went well. The siding work had major problems: -Shiner didn’t order enough siding, so the team left about 15% of our house with no siding in winter (see photo). It took them over two months to come back and complete the job. -One of the Shiner Construction workers put a nail through our HVAC line, leading to all of the Freon (roughly $4000) escaping; Shiner initially agreed to only credit us for the non-recommended cheapest repair option for our HVAC system; then the foreman called to say that his boss (the owner) thought the repair was too expensive and tried to credit us for less money than was required to even repair our system (all while we still had no heat for a week in winter). The repairs were also entirely our responsibility to arrange; no help from Shiner. -The construction team didn’t show up on five separate days that we were told by management that they would show up; no explanation was ever given. -The construction team didn’t clean up the yard, as we found nails in our yard for more than a week after they completed the first 85% of the siding; and then repeatedly didn’t show up when we asked them to clean the yard. We eventually had to buy an industrial magnet on Amazon and look for the nails ourselves."
