"My old refrigerator was hot to the touch on the exterior side walls and top of the unit. It's over 20 years old so I thought it's time to replace it. I got it used in 2001 and t's been extremely reliable since that time but I thought it was on its last legs. So I looked at comparable size refrigerators. If you don't want the cheapest one made, they cost around $800 on up. Wow!
I remembered Angie's List and thought I'd search for a repair service to come out and confirm that I needed a new refrigerator. If I was going to spend almost $1,000 on a refrigerator, I wanted to know I absolutely had to. I read e Appliance Repair's reviews and called for an appointment. I got one for the very next day. Great.
I had a 3 hour window in the afternoon for the appointment, and about 45 minutes or so into the window, Joseph the technician called me and said he was on his way and only several minutes away. I loved the heads up phone call.
When Joseph arrived I explained why I called, he took a look at my fridge and said it was all repairable. He quoted me a $150 price for the labor involved before he started any work and I okay'd the price. He opened the back of the fridge, cleaned it out, stopped the condensation from a frozen tube, and did some more things to ensure the problem was fixed. And all the while he explained what he was doing and why. When he was through, the price he quoted was the price I paid. Very professional, very efficient and a great guy as well.
I'm sure I will be using e Appliance Repair in the future and I will definitely ask for Joseph when I do. Excellent service. Reasonable price. Perfect experience. Thank you very much!

"What an incredibly wonderful experience with Larry! My dryer vent got disconnected on a friday night, and I called Larry at 8 p.m. He picked up the phone and told me he could be over at about 11 on Saturday. He was right on time. He reconnected the vent, cleaned the venting system, and also answered several other questions I had about other appliances. All in all, he was at my house for almost an hour, on a saturday, and he only charged me $45. That's unbelievable value."

"The job went great. New panel works and looks great. This upgraded panel was much larger than our previous panel so he also had his stucco guy come and patch up which also looks good. He also installed an electrical line for our dryer that we thought was already installed but wasn't. "I had had a water leak from the supply line to the toilet and it did some damage to the wainscot. I replaced the supply line but found some other damage on the baseboard to the adjoining wall. I wanted to make sure that I didn't have a leak from under the house. The plumber from Benjamin Franklin was Jerry Montoya. He was on time, neat and professional looking and very polite. I always stand by and watch any home service provider's employee while they work in my home. I know a little about everything in a home... plumbing, electrical, structure, etc., so, I'm not clueless. I've seen so many people ripped of because lack of knowledge or not at least watching them perform their duties, asking questions, etc. That being said, Jerry welcomed me to watch and ask him questions. He is upstanding and just a "good guy". I had him diagnose another issue with my kitchen faucet. Also, I had a coupon so I saved about $130. I'm very satisfied with Benjamin Franklin and Jerry Montoya.
