"We wanted to remodel our newly purchased condo but didn't think we'd be able to afford all the projects we had in mind because of the limitations of our budget. A couple of local contractors in Gulf Shores had estimated a minimum cost of $40,000. We contacted Help-Around-the-House based on favorable Angie's List reviews and found that they more than live up to their great reputation. Dan Parks and his team worked closely with us from start to finish, not only helping us to stay within our budget but also coming up with ideas that were better than what we originally had in mind. All of the work was of high quality, yet it was done amazing fast. We couldn't be more satisfied with the final result. "I bought a deal from Angie's list. The technician did good job to clean, maintain and inspect the roof. He found a small leak on the roof and told me they will come back to fix the leak for $268. They will come to fix the problem tomorrow.

"Mr. De Marco was very prompt and professional. He was very clear on what to expect and how long it would take. The first day they had to tape and mud the areas, then they returned the next day to sand and texture the areas. Because of his schedule, he was not able to come back and paint until a week later. The only thing I would of requested is they cover the items in the garage when they sanded; the sanding left dust over everything in the garage. Besides that everything went well and I was pleased with their work."
