"Working with Dave was and still is absolutely awesome. When it comes to prompt service, honesty, knowledge and fixing the issue, Dave helped us out a ton . I had an issue with my Samsung dryer not heating. I first reached out to Samsung directly and was given a very basic trouble shoot over the phone, when that proved unsuccessful, I was given the phone number of 3 service companies. After talking to all 3 call centers (after a nice long hold time) in a very non personal customer service type of way and getting ridiculously high quotes for services calls, I looked into finding a local technician myself. I came across Call Dave Appliance Repair and Im very happy I did. Dave answered after 2 rings of the phone and helped identify the problem, how to fix it and shared a lot of info and knowledge. We scheduled a service call and Dave was prompt, worked fast and was very fairly priced, he also followed up to make sure everything was still working after the service call. When I called for service, I reviewed the symptom's of the problem with Mr. Fazio and he knew exactly what was wrong and scheduled a next day appointment.  He arrived on time for the appointment and was very courteous and professional during his visit, and my oven was fixed within minutes. I was impressed that he took the time to explain what he was doing to fix the problem. He was respectful of my home and cleaned up after the repair.

"Jim (owner) and Chris are both polite and professional.  I did have to wait sometime from first contacting them to finally get an estimate, but their were extenuating circumstances going on from what I understand.  We ultimately went with another company due to price differences, but I would certainly recommend contacting Home Crafters.  Ask for Jim or Chris.

"Unfortunately not good. I had to put in a service call on three different occasions for the same appliance. Once in July, then again in August and in October. Each time I had to pay the service fee of $75.00. If it was repaired properly I would not have to continually call for repairs. However I do feel that this problem falls on the company that was contracted not Choice Home Warranty!"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
