Based on the info I put in my request, I received a detail quote, including a suggestion to go with a different manufacturer... at a significant savings. They called me to follow-up, and we setup a meet to close the deal. Chris stopped by and checked it out, confirmed the sizing etc, and said they could do it the next week. They get shipments on Tuesday's, and would be ready to install by Thursday... Got one call back, they needed to push it out a day, which was no big deal at all... The installer was in on the early side of the estimate (8:30-ish) worked quickly and quietly, and was done and gone by 2:00 PM. Really happy with the quality and the features of the new doors and openers. Very happy with the perimeter sealing - they fit a match seal piece attached to the fixed door opening, so the sealing is very positive. The unit installed much higher in the garage than the old system, so there's far more headroom with the doors open. The liftmaster belt drives are SUPER quiet, and they don't just haul the door up and down, they adjust power output and speed during motion, so the motion is more fluid. Any back pressure on the closing door triggered the safety stop and open sequence, I'd guess less than a lb. All in all, GarageTech left the existing structure in much better shape than they found it, provided a smooth working product in a very short time frame. Very happy with the service and the sale."
