"Bert was fantastic. I had used another mason for a different part of the house a few years ago, but the work was not as good as our neighbor's across the street. After vetting several other vendors, I called EMR as a referral. Bert's bid was reasonable (not the cheapest, but also definitely not the most expensive)- and his communication was very good. He always called me to look over work as he progressed, or found new things outside the original scope of the project. In the end, we have a really great looking wall that took more than twice as many bricks, and a couple weeks longer than we all expected due to unforeseen issues. Bert was a CHAMP by walking through any questions, concerns, and even took it on himself to source some window parts that required repair before he could complete the job. Bert was also extremely fair for additional costs when taking on weeks of work above what the contract outlined. We are very happy with the work, and look forward to having him work on the rest of the house in the coming years."

They were professional from day 1, even when we flipped back and forth on some decisions, and we ended up with a superb back yard. I love my back yard so much now - before it was so pathetic and small and swampy. "I had some difficulty scheduling the appointment as the company was busy or the owner was moving and I opted to let this be pushed out a month or two.  We scheduled a set date and the owner cancelled the day before due to another project running long and while he offered to come on Saturday to do it - that day was not convenient.  In a week or two I needed to call the owner back to reschedule some three weeks out again and the work was done today.  They did miss the "arrival time window" by 30 minutes, but my home is more than an hour from their shop and I figured this was minor.
