We started looking for a company to take care of this problem and we came across Martinez Wood Floors. What a great work they did! They came on the same day to provide us with an estimate. Their prices were excellent. By Saturday they were already working in our house. They had to remove all that flooring and install new one. By the way, we purchased the Oak floor with them, good prices and had the material on the following day. The employees are honest and hardworking. Very agreeable with anything you might ask. While they were working on the old floor, we had the new wood acclimating under AC, for what the owner told us, this is a very important step if you are going to install new hardwood floor. The installation itself was fast. They were precise and also put our new baseboards. We decided to add the refinishing at the last minute, just to change the color and decor of the bedrooms. We did it to all rooms, and OMG they look beautiful. Wonderful work with exquisite taste. Worth hiring this company"

"After repeated automated requests, I'm leaving a review. The representative was nice and provided great marketing material. There were several repairs and additions I'm interested in making that aren't dependent on each task. The quote was a summarized total and after more than 4 requests for an itemized quote and to identify the construction materials that would be used, I gave up and searched for other service providers. There was a contract clause that limited the paint colors that could be chosen. Additionally, their contract includes a clause of a $5,000 penalty if you say anything they don't like about them online. I was interested in working with them, if there was appropriate communication and clarity of the work to be performed."

"The windows are beautiful! It’s so nice to be able to see out the windows and to be able to open & close them (the previous windows were jalousies from 1959). They also replaced the front doors of each unit because they were installed incorrectly by a different company (they opened “in” instead of “out” which is not hurricane impact protection correct). "DCR Construction was the best company I ever hired. I'll bullet point some of the highlights. * Setting good expectations for both price and timeline. Probably the most important and something I cared a lot about for the project. We added some work for change orders, but there weren't any real surprises in the price beyond a few things where the house itself was old (e.g. replacing some old wood in the framing) or things we chose to do (e.g. doing more exterior painting than we originally were thinking. The project would have actually beaten the timeline originally given to us except some of the things we ordered from other vendors took longer than we expected. This team held up their end of the bargain on timing. * Very communicative. We set up a chat group on whatsapp early between myself, Daniel, and my wife. This was great as we could get answers to things quickly, and he could communicate with us about what was coming next in the project. * Professional and efficient staff, and high quality work. All the folks I interacted with both from Daniel and the subcontractors were great to interact with. My neighbors commented that they were always respectful and friendly when working as well. All the people I interacted with seemed to care about their work and it showed in the finished work. I wasn't around for all the inspections but the ones I was around for went smoothly, and it never seemed like we were blocked on inspections or the city throughout the process. We've been living in our newly renovated house for a few weeks now and it's been pretty great. We've already been recommending Daniel to some of our friends who are considering projects. If we had to do another project, I would go straight to DCR Construction without hesitation."
