"Tony was prompt and courteous. I have a 40 yr old Maytag washer, and he said the hose replacement was difficult to find and because of the item he made 2 visits: 1 was the troubleshooting and estimate, the 2nd was to bring the hose to do the repair. He accurately diagnosed and repaired our washer resulting in no more leaking. He was done in less than an hour. I did not do any comparisons, as I had been without a washer for 2 weeks. I liked the service, but I would probably do a comparison next time . I feel the cost was a bit high. I paid $270. However, he did a great job."

"Larry was very responsive. He came out within a half hour of my calling him and looked at the front loading washing machine, which had stopped working. He charged a $35 service charge. After looking at it for a half hour he determined that it was the control board (?) that was not working and said he could order one. We looked on my home computer to see how much it would cost and it was approximately $130, so I needed to think about whether it was worth repairing or if I should just buy a new machine since mine was 6 years old. Larry told me that it would be an additional $55 for him to install it. So a total of $220. I later decided to go ahead with the repair and Larry obtained the part for me very quickly. He told me it cost more than the one we had seen online and so I ended up paying $25 more, however, his invoice showed the same price for the part, but an increased labor fee. I was happy with his work, but felt that Larry may have overcharged me a bit. Something just didn't feel right about the final invoice. However, the washer has been working fine. UPDATE: Larry did contact me promptly after reading the above review and offer to refund $20. I expect to receive the refund shortly."

"The, technician, Miguel, showed on time and was very friendly and helpful. There was a problem with my fuse box and Miguel was able to fix the problem. There was only a $97 fee for the work provided. Miguel noticed that that my system needed maintenance and provided me with a maintenance contract for a year which was the bet solution for my system. I'm very happy with their service and I will definitely use this company again for their excellent customer service and I highly recommend UMC.

"Our repairman showed up on time, went to work immediately, and finished the job in probably less than an hour.  He did GREAT work and had such a wonderful attitude about something that know was a gritty job.  He had to crawl under our house!
After the repair, we noticed the difference immediately in terms of how much more ice the icemaker was producing.
We made three calls to repair people, as you will see in our contact history.  What I appreciate most about this experience was -- I am not certain if this was Mr. Herrera himself, or one of Mr. Herrera's servicemen, BUT, he did not think our job was too small.  We requested an estimate first, so we were turned down by Brian Shields (our job was too small, so he did not want to waste his time on a possible "estimate first" situation); no answer at Argyll (left a message and no return phone call.)  We sincerely appreciate Mr. Herrera's company, and will call him again when we upgrade to a more permanent repair using copper materials.
While Brian Shields made us feel like our business just did not matter to him one way or the other, Mr. Herrera's company made us feel the exact opposite -- as if all business opportunities were equally important to him.  This has been our outlook as business owners in the past, so we LOVE Mr. Herrera's company and appreciate Mr. Carlos Herrera way more than we can say here.
