"The professional from Accurate Appliance arrived on time and was very efficient. I thought that I may have needed a new pump and motor, or even worse, a new washing machine. I was informed that I only needed a drain pump and I do appreciate him being honest with me because I had no idea. The gentleman even put the bottom front panel of the washing machine back on, installing new clips all at no extra charge. I broke them when I was trying to troubleshoot."

"It's worth noting that Brewster Appliance website has an huge list of services to offer, from Appliance Services (A) to Water Purifiers - but our call was about a broken refrigerator.

Like most refrigerator issues (probably) ours caused some panic, and two previous attempts to obtain a service call weren't successful (although the first provider we called wanted to be helpful and ran through a brief checklist with us on the phone, but ultimately wasn't familiar enough with our model to warrant a visit)  It was a Saturday and we hadn't noticed the warm atmosphere in the fridge until lunchtime, so our effort to try and find a repair person was urgent, since Sunday would be that much more difficult.  We called Brewster Appliance, and after reviewing the same checklist on the phone (for instance, "Is there power?" (yes, the interior light is on) and so forth) Mr. Kirkbride told us he could be there around three o'clock.  He appeared as promised, fixed the refrigerator, and gave us a bill that was very reasonable.  We are happy to recommend Brewster Appliance and Mr. Kirkbride."

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in South-orleans, MA

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
