This is the 2nd major project I contracted Art DeRosa & Co for.  The 1st being 4 years ago a major living room/family room renovation which was hugely successful.  That 1st experience led me to award Art (after several other competitive quotes) this 2nd and far larger & more complex project.

Overall it went well but this was a complicated project encompassing all the typical trades and expertise of building a new luxury house but far more complicated because it was a renovation performed while we were living in the home. Dust partition walls with wood framing had to be erected in several locations in the house which included temporary doors for entering and egress in certain areas of the remaining living areas of the house in order to protect the remaining house from dust and demolition , as well as, provide privacy for us during construction. 

Experience, Experience, Experience and Professionalism, Professionalism, Professionalism are the hallmarks of Art DeRosa and company.  He is a seasoned performer and pretty much seen it all.  Art has such a vast amount of home construction experience in both hi-end and medium end homes that he can draw upon a wealth of knowledge in all construction disciplines to implement a fine finished result.  As a former tool and die maker his penchant for hi-precision finish work yields highest quality appearances to things like moldings; trim; windows; doors; floors; etc. etc. 

This complex renovation project lasted 7 months which was within the initial time estimate given at the beginning and Art DeRosa and team were here every single day, day in and day out,  bright and early during that time frame. He did not start any other projects and stayed on the job day-in and day-out even when other sub-contractors such as plumbers and electricians were on the job site excluding his people from doing any other work. Art DeRosa and team were here every single day until final signoff.

"Just want to thank the people at On the Level Design and Construction LLC. From the moment i met Ty years ago hes always been a honest and caring guy. He really takes the time to explain all parts of the project, how things are installed and the different products and applications that can be used. This is the second renovation Ty has done for me, and he is really on top of business. I love the fact that i didn't have to go anywhere else, he has a large selection of pretty much everything for the kitchen and bath projects, I did have to go to a plumbing supply house to choose some fixtures, but that's what my wife wanted, she has expensive taste. But overall He literally does the measurements him self and designs the whole thing in front of your eyes on his computer. He spent numerous hours coming up with the right design and supplied all the products, we had some holidays that pushed the delivery but thats understandable, The best thing i can say is that he stands behind his work and we had some damages done on delivery and he quickly rectified the situation. I just want to say, i love giving back to our military, and i can see Ty is proud of his service. "Mark was simply outstanding!  I first called him from work and that night he emailed to my wife and me, a list of what documents were needed and instructions on how to proceed.  He provided several refinancing options in detail relevant to our situation.  Never did he pressure us in what we should do, but rather guided us in making a decision that would be satisfactory to us, the customer.  He was always available when we had questions or needed advice and always kept us up-to-date with the refinancing process.  He was always up front with us and there were no hidden costs or surprises at settlement, which he had arranged at our home at our convenience.  At settlement, the gentleman explained the purpose of all the documents that we signed and was more than willing to answer any questions that we needed answered.  I would highly recommend Mark to anyone who is looking to refinance a mortgage.

"The bathtub itself looks great; the cleanup gets a D+. There's a layer of speckled white paint all over the bathroom tiles, and the reglazer left a trail of sticky, clear epoxy drips from the bathroom to the front door, which was only discovered when our socks started sticking to everything; absolutely maddening to clean up off pre-war wood floors. The hallway carpet has white footprints leading from our door to the elevator and we got in trouble with our building. Seems like some simple adjustments could have been put made by this company - or even suggested to us in preparation of the visit - to avoid a secondary mess."
