Replacing the main sewer line would have cost somewhere between $6,500 - $10,000. Artie and I met and reviewed my options. He recommended I go ahead and complete a camera diagnostic and simultaneously have anything in the line descaled. Their descaling machine has a camera attached to it. "This company was highly rated on Home Advisor. That is why I hired them. They sent a **junior** plumber to rework the pipes in the shower of a 60-year-old house. I also asked that a new faucet be installed in the lower-level bathroom. In the case of the bathroom repiping, a couple of mistakes were made according to the tile installer who had to ask for a correction. In the case of the lower bathroom faucet, I was told that because of the pedestal sink, a portion of the bathroom wall would have to be replaced. I certainly did not want that to occur to replace a faucet. Ultimately, this inexperienced plumber asked the main office to send another plumber to do the work and determine how to save the wall in the process. Day 2, a more experienced plumber came, changed the faucet without further adieu. The total cost of all of this far exceeded what I expected."

"I originally called Third Generation to give me a quote on a partial master bath remodel. Robert and Christina came to the house together and gave me some good advice on what needed to be done and a ballpark figure for the work. They also explained that they flipped houses and had trusted people who could do whatever else I wanted to have done in the house and could do it fast. Shortly thereafter, my circumstances changed and I decided to do a full master bath gut and remodel along with a long list of things I had wanted or needed to do for years. Robert gave what I considered a fair quote for my VERY long list of jobs and had people on site within days of signing the contract. Everyone working the job was pleasant, hard-working, and highly skilled. I felt very comfortable with all of them and had no reservations about having them in my house when I wasn't there. The whole job took about 8 weeks but 2 to 3 weeks of that was because a special-order vanity arrived damaged and had to be re-ordered, delaying the completion of the new master bath. I am delighted with the job(s) done by Third Generation. My master bath is gorgeous, my laundry room is now attractive instead of an eyesore, and a long list of "I hate that"s has been turned into "I love that"s. For the amount of work I had done and the range of different types of work involved, the speed of completion, even with the delay caused by the defective vanity, was really impressive. I will definitely call Third Generation again not only for plumbing work, but for future remodeling that I may decide to do. This was a great experience and I have no hesitation in recommending Third Generation."

"I had a sewer backup in my basement. Used Angi’s list and gave RTillery, Alex, a call. They were fantastic - great estimate, responsive, professional, courteous, quick in all their responses, the list goes on. I started with replacing the inside cast iron pipe. Alex even added a clean out. He and his crew were prompt, always polite and professional. They didn’t seem to mind my popping in to watch. The line was replaced in a day and a half w/ minimal water outage. After going back and forth I decided to replace the outside pipes. Alex provided several options. Other estimates would dig up the yard, sidewalk and driveway, replace the cast iron and terra cotta, but no cement work. RTillery slid the new PVC inside the terra cotta which was cheaper and less to dig up and they replaced the sidewalk! Only one other company offered to sleeve the PVC and it cost more! RTillery even came back to fix an issue they noticed doing their final checks. Wow! Can’t recommend these guys enough!"

"I delayed having my beautiful lawn ripped up until after the growing season in order to replace my 73 year old water service line. After Doug McLendon came by for the estimate he assured me that when they completed the work I would hardly notice where they dug, which I was delighted to discover was accurate. During the estimate Doug suggested that they run the water service line diagonally under my lawn, so that it entered my basement in the laundry room where all the rest of the plumbing was and not 30 feet away on the other side of the basement, Doug and his team (Rafael, Garrett and Chad) arrived at 8 am sharp and by 9:30 am the horizonal drill head penetrated the cinderblock wall behind my washing machine. Over the next few hours they tied in this service line with the rest of the house plumbing and enabled me to use my plumbing until they returned the next morning for the WSSC inspection and backfill. Rafael, Garrett and Chad were polite, communicative and very hard working. Although the cost is somewhat high, I would highly recommend Mid-Atlantic Trenchless if you need to replace a water service or sewer line, but do not want to wait a few years for your lawn to grow back in,"
