"I would highly recommend Aluminum Company of NC. Several years ago, we had a large window replaced over the front door entry way. This year we noticed the window was smokey, called them up and sent a photo, window replaced no questions! They stand behind their lifetime warranty! After such great customer service, we just had all 19 windows replaced in our house. I would rate their customer service and installation team a 10! Showed up on time every day, cleaned away debris, and provided instructions on cleaning and care. Aluminum Company of NC thank you for great service. We love your new windows! R. Mangum"

"In my experience, there is nothing not to like about this company! Ricky Lane, the owner, came to our house in Durham to estimate the need and cost. He was friendly and informative, and he offered a very competitive price. We scheduled a time after New Year's in 2023. The work crew was very professional. They replaced soft or rotten decking, covered decking with a waterproof underlayer, and installed the shingles of our choice. Afterwards they picked up every last nail. It's been five months since then, and everything is fine."

"Dennis was great and very professional. I spoke with him after purchasing the deal and received constant communication until the job was complete. He repaired and replaced my shingles that were blown off from the recent storm and cleaned up upon completion. I felt confident with his work and will definitely recommend him to others."

"Veterans removed a wall we suspected had water/mold damage.  They replaced the insulation and replaced drywall.  There were no problems encountered.  They also removed a shower unit from our bathroom.  It went seamlessly.  Their price was very fair and lower than some competitors and the quality of work was great."

"I recently had a stamp concrete sidewalk installed by JJ R Concrete and I am extremely satisfied with the final result. The team was professional, courteous, and paid great attention to detail throughout the installation process. The stamped patterns added a beautiful design element to my sidewalk, enhancing the overall aesthetic of my property. Not only does the stamp concrete sidewalk look visually stunning, but it also feels sturdy and well-constructed. I appreciate the quality of workmanship that went into creating a durable and long-lasting sidewalk that I can enjoy for years to come. I would highly recommend JJ R Concrete to anyone looking to upgrade their outdoor space with a stamp concrete sidewalk. Thank you for a wonderful job and for exceeding my expectations!"

"<p>The replacement of top boards look good. Did not paint all that was replaced. One section was left. It could have been an oversight.</p> <p>The top deck was only painted were a stand up and push brush would reach. He did not use a hand brush to finish the edges.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>He did not paint between the cracks{ you don't walk on crack was his reply} It looks bad. I have had my nephew{11} start to finish it. He was here a total of about 61/2-7 hours. He did not furnish the materials or paint. He did use his own nails to replace 4 bad boards. $625.00 seems high. </p> <p>He was due to arrive on April 21. He called at 11am to tell me he had to take his dog to. the vet. The next day he arrived at 11am to tell me he has too much work to do and that he would return the next day.</p> <p>On the 23 he arrived at 8am . FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Southern Pines, NC

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
