"Every thing went very well, two day install. They left downstairs air conditioning working over night for my comfort. Came back on time next day and finished up. They left garage floor and furnace area swept up. Men were very polite, quiet, knew what they were doing and wore booties when inside. Great people. "Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. "On Angie's List Advent lists a Senior Citizen discount of 10%. I am a 73 year old widow, so I look for that discount before I decide what company to use. I have used Advent before and have never had a problem with them giving me the 10% as listed. I had a very leaky shutoff valve in my bathroom that needed to be replaced so I called Advent since I have been satisfied with my experiences with them. When I mentioned the discount this time the man who did the work told me that the discount was really supposed to be only for the service call, but that he would go ahead and give it to me. If it is supposed to be only 10% off of the service call that should be clearly stated on their Angie's List page. So it the discount only for the service call or for the total bill?"
