"Zen Windows replaced the windows on our 60+ year old house. The crew was friendly and courteous, the quality of work was excellent, and they did an outstanding job cleaning up. I accidentally over-paid, and would never have know if Dan had not called me about it and written a check to square things up. It was an outstanding customer experience and I would hire them again in a second."

"We communicated by email and then by phone. It was necessary for me to schedule getting the exterior of the house washed prior to the window cleaning. Mr Pringle was very flexible in regards to the schedule and met my calendar requirements. He arrived on time, provided sufficient pricing detail prior to the scheduled date, was very pleasant and very professional. The job took approximately 4 hours. There was absolutely no rearrangement of anything inside or out, or any type of damage at all. The windows and screens are exceptionally clean and both my husband and I are more than satisfied with the work. We discussed when it might be time to do the windows again and I feel lucky to be on his list of customers to call with a reminder. <br />"

"My husband and I moved to Texas in August of 2021. The house was built in 1972 and still had the single pane aluminum windows. We reached out Texas Made to review the options on replacing the windows and the old French doors. The owner, Jerry Dixon, called us right back and arranged for Frank, the salesman to come out and take a look. He was fantastic and we ordered. Jerry and Frank measured everything and placed the order. With today's supply chain issues, they kept us updated and scheduled the work. Mike and Juan installed the windows and doors over 3 days. The improvement in sound and drafts was immediate after just one picture window. Everything is beautiful and the installation was fantastic. They left this place cleaner than when they got here! Wonderful experience from start to finish. We are happy and safe with our hurricane impact windows and doors."

"They were great.  Very helpful in explaining their services and showing the quality of the product in the initial meeting.  I agreed to use their organization and they measured my windows two separate times to insure accuracy.  They they estimated the time to make the windows accurately and were back to install.  They did an excellent job of installing the windows and doors.  All i met were very polite, professional and kept me informed at all steps in the process.  There were 2 things that needed to be replaced as a result of shipping and they did that as well. <br /> I am totally satisfied with my windows and proudly recommend the company and their product.  A great experience.  My house is totally quiet now that I have triple paned windows, what a relief.  Also, the ac seems to run less frequently, however i haven't gotten my first CPS bill so don't yet know the impact on the cost of energy now. <br /> <br />"

"Cracked window was carefully removed and quickly replaced. It was done very safely, all from the outside. Price very reasonable, as this was a single-pane window. Company office was very professional, scheduled appointment at my convenience, and they arrived right on time."

"I found Hansen Screen Company on Angie's list and called them. Javier arrived on time (after accommodating my work schedule), took measurements and gave me the estimate in one trip. I had already shopped around for solar screens and knew that his estimate was very reasonable. I was impressed with his professionalism and the quoted cost, so I chose my screen color and ordered the screens on the spot. I also asked that my old screens be repaired as necessary and re-installed on my north-facing windows (which didn't have any screens on them at all). Javier and I agreed on a VERY REASONABLE price, so later that week I removed the burglar bars and old wooden screens from the all of my windows. Javier came by and picked up my old screens to be repaired and re-screened as necessary. Meanwhile I cleaned my windows and sanded and repaired the windows frames - my new screens were ready a few days EARLY and I had to ask that Javier wait to install them so I could finish my work. In all my years a s home-owner I can count on one hand the times a contractor had to wait on me instead of the other way around! On the day of installation, Javier and Kevin arrived (again on time), installed my new solar screens, re-installed the old, wood screens on my "naked" north-facing windows, and without my even asking reinstalled all of my burglar bars (and they are awkward and heavy). I was so impressed that I have again used Hansen Screens to make and install two new wooden screens. The quality of the screens are excellent, customer-service was excellent, I am an experienced home-owner (this one makes my 11th) and I rate this company as one of the best I have ever dealt with"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Spring-branch, TX

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
