"I had a toilet installed by a handyman. I was not satisfied with the results and called Jeff for help in rebalancing it. He did a great job and I was totally satisfied with Jeff's work. I have called on Pipe Dreams before and they are always courteous and respond quickly. Their price is always fair and I would recommend them to anyone.

"Hot water tank was leaking gas.  Called these guys to come and look at it under our home warranty.  They were very professional and responsive.  Looked out for the safety of those in our home by replacing the parts needed.  This same issue happened previously, and they were able to contact the manufacturer and replaced additional parts then just the ones that were corroded to hopefully eliminate this issue.  Highly recommend."

"Nick does excellent work  is VERY reliable and reasonably priced and trustworthy.
I had plumbing challenges that were building up over the course of a couple of weeks and hit "crisis mode" a couple of days ago.
I called Nick and not only was the quote he provided reasonable, he was able to fit me into his schedule, and got everything fixed at my house today.
Nick also helped me out with what could have been a major issue at a house that I was selling several months ago.  He was able to do the repairs without having to replace the equipment.
I will never use another plumber and will have him replace & maintain my HVAC when necessary.

"Great job by these guys! They dug a large trench to get to the sewer line and took care not to destroy our back yard. The trench was about 6 feet deep and at least 40 feet long, so there was a lot of dirt. They removed the old (improperly installed, but not by them) sewer line, fixed the grading/slope problem, and replaced the line with higher quality pipe. Once inspected, they back filled the dirt. No problems since! It was an expensive job, but we were able to negotiate on price. Their final cost was more than $3,000 less than a quote we received from one of their competitors."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Springport, IN

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
