"In a nutshell, we hired DreamMaker because of Steve Everett, and that turned out to be an excellent decision for us.  The heart of the matter is this:  Steve, as it turns out, is the honest man we expected, and he does his business diligently, knowledgeably,  and efficiently.   All that translates into an end result we were thrilled with and no aggravation or nasty surprises for us along the way.
The first thing we noticed is how patiently Steve worked with us to specify our needs in detail - and our need for detail was greater than either his or his competitors.  This is one area where we prefer the DreamMaker approach to contracting:  For very little money up front, we got to see the contract reworked and fleshed out in detail until the project was specified in a way that we were very comfortable with.  At the other end of the spectrum, some contractors handed us a 1 or 2 page contract and said they couldn't tell us more until we signed a $25 or $30K contract - not even draw a picture.  We prefer the DreamMaker way.
During the project, we knew which days to expect the various subcontractors and inspectors.  All the subs were competent and professional, and they were well-supervised.  We never had to deal with the subs directly , although we could always ask them about something.  But the important thing to us is that we understood what they were doing and why, and we felt comfortable with them in our house.
We changed our mind about some things about half way through the contract and decided to ask for additional work.  We thought the contract mod process was very fair and reasonable.  We did NOT feel "held up".
And at the end of the day, we were thrilled with the results.  Everything works right; things look even better than we imagined; we like having been consulted when there was a gray area or a matter of taste involved; and we like that things were completed in a time frame we agreed to.  We had heard so many horror stories about home contracting, but working with DreamMaker and Steve Everett has got to be "as good as it gets!".  We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

"Brian Sutti did an outstanding job installing a new fence on my property. He was professional, accommodating, did excellent work, and most importantly, he is HONEST. I would recommend Sutti construction for any work you need done. I will definitely use Sutti Construction in the future. I highly recommend this company!"

"The contractor was easy to work with, professional, and completed the work in a timely manner at a reasonable price.  The results is just what we were hoping for.

"Fantastic, I was so pleased to get an estimate half the price of 2 different contractors selling for Jacuzzi-one day shower remodels, and jacuzzi was only redoing the shower walls, pan and grab bars only. King’s Remodeling and Restoration did my whole bathroom to include a shower door, shower seat, knitch, took out a drop ceiling and tiled porcelain tile to the ceiling, put in mosaic matted tile for the shower floor, put in new vanity and replaced bathroom floor with LVT. They also replaced the trim and painted the bathroom. It looks great! Very happy with the professionalism of the staff and the abilities of the staff, especially their Tiler- Chris H. I am having King’s back to do flooring for me and to redo my second bathroom. I recommend King’s Remodeling and Restoration Very highly. I would be glad to provide before and after photos of my bathroom. Thank you for the chance to review this company."

"Troy from TWF Construction came this afternoon to fix our toilet. It needed new wax ring and new screws and bolts. Friendly, efficient, and cleaned up the work area. Would recommend TWF Construction. Thank you for making it easy to get our toilet fixed."

"SUNSHINE WAS PERFECTION AT ITS BEST! Sunshine was 1 of 4 companies we considered for our house siding/gutter remodel project in the area. They were recommended directly from the James Hardie website given our location in Northern Virginia and their performance as a Hardie certified installer. From the get-go, Scott was the most thorough, knowledgeable and attentive rep to our needs of anyone we had met with prior. Immediately after meeting with him, we knew they were the company to go with. Bonus - their quote on the project was well below the competition by thousands of dollars, solidifying the quality choice in companies not trying to price-hike in an already ridiculously priced area. After having a gas-line moved in preparation for the siding project and discovering a horribly installed 4-set of windows with lack of framing (plus rotted wood), we reached out to Sunshine again for a last-min addition of a window replacement to complement our upcoming siding project. The entire Sunshine team worked to expedite the window order and fit that project within the project schedule. Additionally, Scott made an amazing recommendation for trench work of a French drain (flawless as well by Rito Torres), and adjust the overall schedule around our already tasked electrician to route wires midway through the siding project. Words can’t put to justice the amount of attention to detail and craftsmanship the team presented throughout the entire project. The smallest of details were all perfectly covered, from replacing and filling in wood gaps/wall repair on the 50-year old home, removing hidden windows from previous botched siding attempts of past owners, reinforcing needed areas, custom cutting aluminum drip edges to match every curvature of the home top to bottom, to hand-crafting exhaust vents in color-matched aluminum…Sunshine exceeded every aspect and expectation we had for this project. No detail or ask went uncovered with their team, and we are so excited to have used them for our project! Quality workmanship was equally matched with a highly professional, responsive and friendly crew. This is the type of company you dream about when you look at a massive siding project that uses James Hardie, truly worth every penny spent! Our family is already looking forward to the next project with Sunshine…doors and windows!!! An absolute must consideration for any window, door, siding, gutter, roofing project! They will amaze you from the first interaction to the final day of cleanup. Thanks so much again Sunshine and look forward to working with you soon!"
