He fixed two different bath/shower glass enclosure issues in our thirty-year old house, both involving equipment not found in newer houses. In one bath/shower he fixed in place a glass enclosure panel that had gone off its track and was dangling dangerously. He quickly analyzed the problem, jumped into the (waterless) bathtub and. hand manipulated two old and twisted rubber stops, putting the glass door panel securely back on its track. In the second issue, Bassel came back a second day after finding that two different types of rubber glass door stops needed to be replaced. While keeping his focus on these jobs, Bassel was good at explaining what he was doing. We'd easily hire him again for related issues."

"While the finished product is more than adequate, Battali made several efforts to increase the agreed upon price. He replaced a heavy glass panel for a shower enclosure and when the job was complete he tried to shake us down for an additional $80 to remove the glass panel from our home. Accompanying him is an offensive tobacco odor that lingers long after he leaves a room. Additionally, our first appointment to start the job, he called one and a half hours after the appointment time to say he was not going to make it."

"Virginia Glass charged less than another local company I contacted, were more courteous, and generally very pleasant to deal with. On the first visit, however, I was surprised that the worker appeared a couple of hours early in an unmarked van wearing no uniform or otherwise identifying apparel. To be fair, I had indicated that earlier would be fine but I was thinking in terms of 30 minutes or so. When the worker appeared at the door, I hesitated to let him in because I had no way of knowing who he was. An advance phone call would have been good. Fortunately, that visit turned out okay and another worker just installed the glass. No fuss, no further charge. I'm very satisfied with Virginia Glass."

"Awesome.  They came out on time, to begin with.  Then, upon removing the old shower doors, they discovered a bunch of gross mold that had collected/grown in the area between the old metal frame and the shower (the bottom).  They thoroughly removed and cleaned the whole area of all the mold -- when they were done, you couldn't tell it had ever been there.  Then they installed the new door, which looks fantastic.  Given proper drying time, this will probably be the last shower door we ever need or want in our master bathroom.  They left our bathroom the way they found it -- clean ... but with a sweet new door instead of the old, nasty, door.  Very, very pleased with the work."

"They did a great job with the installation. My only issue was that I got "scolded" for making multiple Angi's list submissions, one for shower door and one for screen doors. I was unaware that District Capital Glass does both, so whoever I spoke to was upset because they pay a finders fee. I thought it was fairly unprofessional and could have been handled differently, I offered to pay the finders fee, but he said "it was ok". Anyhow the rating was for the work performed, again, they did a GREAT job with the shower door. Ultimately, he forgot to measure for the screens and we decided to move on to someone else."
