"I'd previously asked Backyard Ponds to clean and net my ponds the last week in September. I called the Friday before to find out when they could come, and they agreed to send their workers on Monday. They team arrived on time. They were pleasant and professional I walked them through what I wanted them to do. It was a complicated job; there were three ponds, and each pond required different care. The team went to work right away. They spent most of the day on the effort, breaking only for lunch. When they were done, I inspected the ponds. The only thing I had to ask them to do was put a net over the waterfall on one of the ponds. The fish they handled were in good condition after the cleaning. The workers left no debris on the job site. The company sent the bill in a timely manner, listing labor and materials so I would understand the charges. I would happily use them again!"

"I have been impressed with Subcomm Pools since our first contact. After days of research trying to find a company that could help us with a potential leak, I decided to contact Subcomm Pools. What really distinguished them from all the other companies was their willingness to put their weekly service package prices on their website. "Matt and his crew were on time, professional and on time. We first called a big name company that you may see on the back of a truck. Well that company quoted us $10,000-$15,000 for less work; at that point it was ONLY the furnace. I called Matt for a second opinion. Obviously, he quoted me for half the price of the back of the truck company WITH the water heater added in. Total work done: replaced furnace and outside unit, replaced water heater, installed water pump, installed 2 EcoBee thermostats. The big name company was ONLY doing the furnace and outside unit. We will call Matt for our future needs."

"Bob indicated that the relatively new Led back door light was no longer functioning. He replaced the light in a very short time and proceeded to inform me that the dining room light was also no longer operating. At the time, he asked to return the following week due to needing to make another scheduled appointment. On Saturday, July 27 as agreed previously; Bob and two additional employees arrived early in the day. Bob and one of the two more experienced electricians opted to re-wire and swap out my original dining room with amore energy efficient and modern light. Bob recommended that a new wiring scheme be used for the new Led dining room light. I agreed. We agreed that the re-wiring of the dining room and installing of the new LED would be separate from the Angie's Big Deal coupon purchased earlier via the Internet. There was still one hour remaining on the Angie's Big Deal coupon. I asked Bob if the junior journeyman would please replace two old electrical recepticles with two new (GE) wall recepticles while he and the other more experienced electricians replaced the dining room wire and light. While sitting in the dining room observing the new dining room light being installed; I indirectly heard and saw a flash of light. I immediately asked the journeyman if he was okay? He indicated (journeyman) he was okay, but that the house electrical wires were much too short and he accidentally might have touched the white and black wires resulting in a small flash or electrical short. Bob informed me that the Dining room was working properly and installed. He indicated he was going to have the journeyman cap the corner living room recepticle. He and I agreed that it would be better cap the outlet for the time being. I informed Bob, and he informed me that we both had to be somewhere else at the time. I returned to my home in the evening (Saturday, July 27) and discovered that none of the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom electrical lights were functioning. Additionally, half of the recepticals in the main floor were not working. On the opposite side of the living room wall the electric recepticals lights did and still work. The dining room light that was replaced worked well. In the kitchen half of the electrical recepticals worked and the others did not work. Prior to departing Bob indicated that he would like to return at a later time, and prior to doing any additional repairs. He would recommend that he map out; how all the electrical circuits were tied or not tied into the residential electrical circuits running through the shorted out living room recepticle. The two hours electrical services were used to replaced an outside backdoor light and was supposed to replace two electrical wall outlets. The back door light was replaced with no problems. The two electrical wall outlets were never replaced due a an electrical short in the living room."
