"The serviceman never showed for the Saturday evening appointment to fix my clothes dryer. On Monday morning, I received a call from the company. I was told that my appointment had never been put on the servicemans schedule, and they apologized for their error. They wanted to reschedule the appointment but, by that time, I had diagnosed the problem myself and determined that the repair cost was close to the cost of a new unit. Since the dryer was 14 years old, I decided to replace it rather than have it repaired."
