"Marvon's crew did an excellent job with renovations to the main floor of our 36 year old home. The work ethic his crew demonstrated was exception now days. They take pride in their work and truly want the customer to be happy with the end product. I would hire them again if I need this level of work done again."

"These guys are <strong> GREAT!!  -  p</strong>rompt, professional, knowledgeable, courteous, good humored and tidy - They gave me an estimate on the work, showed up when scheduled (with the necessary equipment and materials), did the work, cleaned up, and charged me the agreed price.  What a concept!!  Scraping and sanding the basement walls was a really dirty job and they cleaned up so well that if it wasn't for the finished job I wouldn't have known they had been there.   They even hauled off some additional trash!   I will definitely use them again and will enthusiastically recommend them to all my friends.  <br />"

"Sutton's roofed my ranch house w/attached garage in 2015. I noticed a small water puddle on the garage floor in 2020. The next Monday morning Adam was out to inspect for the source of my problem. He determined that caulk on a vent had lost its seal. He wanted a better caulk than he was carrying on his truck for the repair. He returned after lunch with the right caulk and resealed both garage roof vents. Adam texted me at 2:00 that the repair was complete. I am very pleased with Sutton's standing behind their installation work. In addition to a new roof, the 2015 job as pictured also included windows, doors, siding and interior reconfiguration."

"I was extremely pleased with Mr. Newby's work! I received a roofing quote for a 1700+ Sq/Ft home. The quote was reasonable and the work was done quickly and professionally. In my case, he used 6 workers to get the job done. Clean up after the job was thorough and also performed immediately after the job was complete, so shingles and excess construction materials didn't clutter the yard or driveway. What impressed me most, is that Mr. Newby staffs well. Some contractors may try to lowball a bid, but then only staff with a couple of workers and the construction job drags on forever. I am impressed and would highly recommend Kris Newby."

"This was about a week's worth of work. ALL this work improved the look and value of my home tremendously. Enlarging the entrance deck created a totally new look for my Modular Home and the new skirting on the 4"x4" timbers gave such a beautiful, finished look. The lacked gate they built for the entrance onto the deck from the steps is probably one of the best features because it allows me and my dog to set on the deck and I have no fear of her running down the stairs and away into the yard or street. It is a wonderful security feature and it really finished the look of the deck! The new skirting replaced the original 15 year old skirting and has made a huge difference on utility bills. Even though this work was performed over 2 years ago, I wanted to share that Buddy's Mobile Home Services builds beautiful decks/porches, etc. I have had many, many compliments on my new deck and it has certainly changed the entire look of my beautiful home! I'm the envy of the Mobile Home Community! Thanks Buddy! <br />"

"His name is Brian true.  I have used him several times.  They do good with dry wall, laying new floor, taking windows in and out and all the repair works around the house.  The guy does not argue back when I ask him to do something.  You know how you live in the house, and you know how you want things done and a lot of repair men they don’t follow.  One time I had put a paper on the wall where I want the hole, I put the exact measurements on that paper and taped it to the wall and I made the drastic mistake of going to work that day.  The repair man made the hole in the wall where I wanted it and I asked him a couple of months later why he made the hole so big and he replied that I would have wanted a bigger air conditioner later so he made it bigger.  Stuff like that happen to me all the time.  They don’t do what I ask them to do.  They do what they think is better.  This guy is not like that.  He does what you want him to do.  His prices are reasonable.  As for his punctuality he might be an hour or two late but he would show up the day that he said he said he would show up."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Stonington, IL

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
