Every part of the planning and building of our garage by the Great Garage Company was done with precision and everything was done to our specifications and at the exact time and day they said they were going to do it. Every crew they had was very good, and even explained to me what they were doing and other details while they were working. Even the city inspector told me how precise the Great Garage Company is in doing their work. We have had our garage for 6 months now and my favorite thing is hitting the button to open up the garage and walking out there into our brand new structure. "Removed existing shingles (two layers) from house and garage.
Inspected all wood decking. Ended up doing some minor decking repair at no extra charge.
Installed 6' of ice guard from gutter board on house, 4-1/2' of ice guard on the garage, 3' of ice guard in valley areas.
Installed a synthetic roofing underlayment.
Installed new valleys, soil stack covers, chimney flashings, and drip edge on all rake edges.
Installed a design-type shingle.
Installed a ridge vent along main ridge lines of both lower roof ridges on house and garage.
Replaced existing power roof fan on area above bedrooms with a new unit.
Cleaned up and hauled away all scrap.
Once Dave and his crew started working on my house, they stuck with it until it was done. They did not have any other projects going on at the same time to my knowledge. My house was their focus.
The cleanup was especially exemplary. When they finished, you could not tell that anybody had even been there except for the beautiful new roof! So far, I have found ONE nail and that one had become lodged between two boards on my back deck. The driveway was absolutely free of nails from the beginning of the project until completion.
I also would like to mention that communication was superb! I was notified of what was going on every step of the way and all of my questions were answered promptly.
After the job was finished, I found a small split in a section of downspout. I called Dave to see if he could recommend anyone whom I could call to get this repair done. Dave didn't hesitate: he offered to come over and take care of it himself even though the problem was not in any way caused by him or his crew.
Dave is a straight shooter. He tells you what he's going to do and then he does it.
