"Work went well! Clint installed all the above with no leaks. He was very responsive when contractors put a leak in my gas line, and fixed that in a few short hours."

"The service provider was very professional and knew exactly what to do; the issue requires further review due limited access to the water pipes which are enclosed behind a wall. We are working on a solution. I will be calling them back, once we determine the best solution. "

"Great! They couldn't snake out my clog, realized my pipes were old, had leaks and weren't really installed correctly in the first b place. They charged a reasonable amount and did the work while we were away on vacation. It was great. ❤ I was very impressed with their professionalism and affordability."

"Traditional plumbers and septic service companies did not seem to want my business locating the source of the sewer gas we were smelling. ALD found it within two hours, and provided a recommended course for remediating the problem."

"Jerry did a great job. He found some damage that the leak had caused to the floor, and was able to help us get a handyman out to fix it ASAP. He made sure the work was done right before he remounted the toilet. We were very  happy with his quick response (he came in less than 2 hours after I called). His workmanship was great, and he cleaned everything up when he left. I would definitely call him again. <br />"

"They sent out a Leak Detection technician the next day. He did a great job pinpointing the source of the leak (i.e., dead center under the tape marks he left on the concrete.) <br /> The next day Allied Plumbing sent out Ray and Kaleb to perform the pipe repair. They were prompt and ready to work with all the tools necessary to complete their task. They both were very knowledgeable and professional doing the actual work. <br />  The process requires cutting a hole in the concrete with the appropriate tools. After removing the concrete pieces and rock material in the problem area; they have to hand dig down to the pipe that was leaking. Fixing the leaks required cutting out the bad section of copper pipe and "silver soldering" a new section in the water line. The last step is filling the hole and replacing the concrete. <br /> Ray and Kaleb both take pride in their work and do a great job. They represent Allied Plumbing very well. They are friendly and easy to work with; their explanations and communications are clear and concise. The customer concerns are listened to and is kept informed. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Sulphur Springs, AR

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
